What you will be doing
- Leading Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that leave students thinking, "I didn't realize I was capable of this!" From public speaking to entrepreneurship, you'll deliver practical skills that motivate and empower.
- Facilitating daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by helping students establish meaningful goals and cultivate the mindset to achieve them.
- Driving student success: Apply proven frameworks to ensure every student reaches ambitious academic and personal objectives.
- Developing personalized motivational strategies: Collaborate with students to create reward systems and incentives that foster intrinsic excellence.
What you will NOT be doing
- Traditional teaching: Leave behind chalkboards and lectures. At Alpha, students master core subjects through cutting-edge applications—your role is to mentor, inspire, and enhance their learning experience.
- Disciplining: We reject punitive approaches. Instead, you'll rely on logic and positive reinforcement to foster a respectful, dynamic environment.
Candidate requirements
- Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. Relocation support is available.
- Bachelor's degree in any subject.
- Experience applying a growth mindset to achieve a high level of performance
- High level of energy and a desire to elevate others.
- A passion for connecting with, inspiring, and motivating K-8th grade students.
- Legal authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
