As a Senior Associate, you'll leverage your elite athletic background to inspire, mentor, and transform young student-athletes. You won't just teach—you'll ignite the same fire that drove your athletic career, creating an environment where excellence is expected and mediocrity has no place.

Note: This position requires relocation to our Austin, TX campus. Relocation assistance is available.

What you will be doing

  • Drive daily high-energy morning kickoffs that set the tone for excellence and prepare students to attack their day with purpose and intensity
  • Deliver personalized coaching that builds problem-solving muscles, teaching students to overcome academic and athletic challenges with strategic thinking
  • Mentor student-athletes through the unique pressures they face, drawing from your own experience navigating the demands of high-performance environments
  • Lead transformative afternoon sessions that translate athletic principles into life skills—building leadership, teamwork, mental toughness, and resilience
  • Create and maintain a culture of accountability where students take ownership of their development and push beyond perceived limitations

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering conventional classroom instruction or subject-specific tutoring—your role transcends traditional teaching
  • Observing passively—this role demands your active engagement and demonstration of the excellence you expect
  • Applying generic motivational techniques—you'll develop personalized approaches that unlock each student's unique potential
  • Working in isolation—you'll be part of an elite team of athlete-mentors collectively raising the bar for our student community

Key responsibilities

Your primary responsibility is to transform raw potential into exceptional performance, cultivating student-athletes who excel academically, athletically, and personally through the application of elite competitive principles.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study open)
  • Proven elite athletic background (Olympic, professional/semi-professional, national/world champion, or D1 collegiate athlete)
  • Demonstrated academic achievement that complements your athletic excellence
  • Exceptional ability to motivate, inspire, and engage young people with authenticity and impact
  • Proven commitment to personal development and ability to translate athletic discipline into life skills
  • Willingness to relocate to Austin, TX (relocation assistance provided)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Experience in educational environments or youth athletic coaching
  • Background in psychology, education, or related fields that enhance mentorship capabilities
