What you will be doing

  • Designing and continually refining an AI-powered learning ecosystem that demonstrably surpasses traditional education, supported by concrete improvements in student achievement metrics
  • Interacting directly with students via virtual platforms to gain insight into their learning journeys, obstacles, and achievements, applying these findings to drive ongoing enhancement of the learning ecosystem
  • Analyzing learning platform data to identify actionable insights and develop high-impact academic interventions utilizing AI/ML, learning science, and motivational best practices
  • Fostering a culture of ambitious experimentation and evidence-driven decision-making, using data to unlock significant advances in students' growth paths
  • Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to convert academic insights and student feedback into refined product improvements

What you will NOT be doing

  • Wrapping traditional education in an AI veneer. This is not about transferring classroom instruction to screens—we are fundamentally reimagining learning from first principles.
  • Studying data from a distance. You will be required to engage regularly with K-12 students, treating their feedback as critical input from our primary customers.
  • Waiting for unanimous agreement before challenging norms. You will advocate for an ambitious vision and mobilize others through data-driven outcomes.
  • Adhering to established methods. You will have the freedom to explore novel approaches to motivation, assessment, and instruction.

Key responsibilities

Lead innovation in AI-enabled, teacher-less education to produce outstanding student outcomes across multiple campuses. Integrate data analytics with consistent student interaction to continually refine our learning ecosystem, as demonstrated by AP exam scores and MAP assessment growth.

Candidate requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • Leadership experience in education or EdTech
  • Experience applying AI technologies in an educational or professional context
  • Experience designing and implementing AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
  • Strong understanding of learning science principles and data-driven educational approaches
  • Proven ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
