Description

Do you have the ability to envision atomic interactions or dissect the complexity of living ecosystems in your imagination? Consider merging that depth of scientific knowledge with advanced AI technology to transform science education for millions of learners. At 2 Hour Learning, we're not merely contemplating the future of teaching science—we're testing hypotheses, refining approaches, and making it real.

We are looking for a forward-thinking professional to drive our initiative to reshape science education through sophisticated data analysis, innovative AI integration, and substantial subject expertise. Your objective? To accelerate the rate at which students master scientific principles—from foundational biology to quantum physics—by a factor of two.

What you will be doing

  • Interpreting sophisticated patterns in student performance data with AI, converting these findings into transformative strategies that redefine science teaching and learning.
  • Building AI-driven virtual laboratories and simulations that make abstract scientific ideas tangible and compelling for students.
  • Creating adaptive learning sequences that adjust dynamically, rendering complex scientific theories approachable and stimulating for learners at every skill level.
  • Partnering with a multidisciplinary team of educators, scientists, and AI specialists to advance the state of science education, shaping the academic experience of thousands of students.
  • Converting dense scientific research into clear, AI-enhanced materials that educate students while sparking their enthusiasm for scientific discovery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing conventional science curricula or performing administrative duties—this position centers on innovation and strategic enhancement of science instruction.
  • Operating independently—you will collaborate within a dynamic team advancing the application of AI in science education.
  • Concentrating exclusively on abstract concepts—each AI model you create will tangibly influence how students comprehend and utilize scientific principles in practical contexts.

Key responsibilities

Deliver quantifiable enhancements in student science learning outcomes via AI-powered analysis and execution, evidenced by a 2x improvement in concept mastery speed across diverse scientific disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.) and grade levels.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific field (such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or similar)
  • 3+ years of experience teaching science or developing science curriculum, with demonstrable impact on learning outcomes
  • Basic coding abilities in any programming language
  • Experience designing, implementing, or using AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights from it
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts to diverse stakeholders in a professional setting
