What you will be doing

As a Teaching Aide, you'll be at the heart of our educational mission, preparing materials and spaces for dynamic workshops, supporting our academic staff, and facilitating student engagement. You'll manage schedules and ensure smooth transitions between sessions, all while being guided by visionary leaders.

What you will NOT be doing

Your role goes beyond mere supervision; you'll be actively involved in the learning process. You won't be overwhelmed with lecturing or emotional coaching duties, as those are handled by our Guides. Every task you undertake will contribute meaningfully to the students' growth and success.

Key responsibilities

Assist Guides in fulfilling Alpha's promise to students by ensuring academic excellence, promoting essential life skills, and cultivating a passion for learning.

Candidate requirements

  • Must be available to work on-site at our Miami campus.
  • Commit to at least 10 hours a week, with flexibility to choose your schedule during school hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Full-time opportunities available.
  • Prior experience working with children is essential.
  • Exhibit strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Possess a friendly and approachable demeanor suited for kids.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the U.S. without needing visa sponsorship.
