Director of Admissions   $100,000 USD/year

Description

  • Remote · W2 in the United States or Contractor in Canada · $100K/yr

This role is not about promoting an institution. It's about building trust with families during one of the most consequential decisions they will make.

Alpha enables students to complete their core academics in just two hours daily through AI-powered learning platforms, freeing time to develop essential real-world competencies: entrepreneurship, public speaking, and resilience. With 25 new campuses planned for launch by the close of 2025, every location begins with a single, pivotal interaction—the admissions process. This is your domain.

You will deliver a premium, concierge-style experience designed for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families—not a transactional workflow driven by paperwork or scripts. You will oversee the complete admissions lifecycle for your assigned families, from initial contact through final transition, providing exceptional, personalized service throughout. Your responsibilities include lead qualification, guiding families through their evaluations, and deploying AI tools to handle administrative tasks—allowing you to concentrate on relationships, conversions, and credibility.

If you are seeking a position where elevated service standards intersect with rapid execution—and where AI functions as a foundational principle rather than industry jargon—submit your application now.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing the complete admissions lifecycle for designated families with professionalism, empathy, and precision.
  • Evaluating inbound inquiries from high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth parents through strategic questioning, CRM analytics, and AI-driven insights.
  • Serving as the sole point of contact for all parent correspondence, appointment coordination, and follow-through—ensuring a concierge-level experience irrespective of final decision.
  • Utilizing AI-enabled tools and CRM platforms (such as HubSpot) to streamline task prioritization, automate outreach sequences, and minimize administrative overhead.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Operating from scripts or inflexible procedures—this position demands discernment, sophistication, and interpersonal acuity.
  • Navigating bureaucratic obstacles—you will not be constrained by interdepartmental clearances or dependent on others to advance initiatives.
  • Outsourcing relationship ownership—you remain the trusted contact from start to conclusion.

Key responsibilities

Execute a concierge-caliber, high-conversion admissions experience that cultivates family confidence and supports Alpha's national growth strategy.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years in a client-engagement role with documented conversion metrics (such as admissions, luxury sales, philanthropic development, or executive recruitment).
  • Demonstrated history of managing high-stakes or emotionally complex dialogues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) and experience orchestrating multi-phase processes from inquiry to completion.
  • Established proficiency with AI tools, automation frameworks, and workflow optimization.
  • Confirmed capability to handle details impeccably—encompassing documentation, follow-up cadences, CRM accuracy, and intuitive understanding of confidentiality protocols.
  • Located in the United States or Canada with authorization to work independently of visa sponsorship.
  • Availability to accommodate evening and weekend schedules in alignment with family availability.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Alpha's educational approach or genuine commitment to education innovation.
