Director of Admissions   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Your role is not to pitch a school. It's to build trust with families navigating one of the highest-stakes choices they'll ever make.

Alpha enables students to complete their core academics in just two hours daily through AI-driven platforms, freeing time to develop real-world competencies — entrepreneurship, public speaking, resilience. We are targeting 25 new campus launches by the close of 2025, and each begins with a single touchpoint: the admissions experience. This is your domain.

You will be delivering a premium, concierge-grade experience designed for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families — not processing paperwork or following call scripts. You will guide families through the entire admissions cycle from initial inquiry to enrollment handoff, providing personalized service at every interaction. You'll assess leads, shepherd decision-making, and deploy AI-driven tools to eliminate administrative friction so you can concentrate on relationships, outcomes, and credibility.

If you're drawn to a position where sophisticated client service intersects with rapid organizational growth — and where AI is a foundational tool, not marketing language — submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing the complete admissions experience for your assigned families with professionalism, care, and precision.
  • Evaluating inbound inquiries from high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth parents through strategic questioning, CRM intelligence, and AI-generated insights.
  • Serving as the sole point of accountability for parent outreach, scheduling coordination, and ongoing communications — maintaining a concierge standard in every interaction.
  • Using AI-enabled platforms and CRM infrastructure (such as HubSpot) to rank priorities, streamline follow-up sequences, and minimize repetitive tasks.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Following call scripts or inflexible procedures — success here depends on discernment, professionalism, and relational insight.
  • Navigating bureaucratic bottlenecks — you won't be held back by interdepartmental clearance loops or waiting for others to execute.
  • Handing off relationship ownership — you remain the consistent, trusted contact from beginning to end.

Key responsibilities

Execute a premium, high-performing admissions process that builds family confidence and supports Alpha's national growth trajectory.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years in a client-centric position with documented conversion performance (examples: admissions, high-end sales, donor relations, executive search).
  • Proven experience managing high-stakes or emotionally complex dialogues with professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and experience guiding multi-phase journeys from inquiry through close.
  • Confirmed fluency with AI applications, automation systems, and task prioritization frameworks.
  • Established ability to execute flawlessly on operational details — documentation accuracy, timely follow-through, and CRM data integrity.
  • Located in the U.S. or Canada with independent work authorization (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Availability to accommodate evening and weekend hours that align with family availability.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Alpha's educational approach or demonstrated commitment to education innovation.
