  • Relocating? We provide support

Consider how traditional education confines high-potential students to lecture-based models built for conformity.

Alpha operates differently: we facilitate student-driven learning that accelerates at the rate of capability, not curriculum constraints.

You won't oversee crowded classrooms or execute standardized lesson plans. Instead, you'll guide small cohorts of self-motivated learners seeking faster progress, deeper exploration, and educational ownership. If your success came through unconventional routes—competitive achievement, athletics, entrepreneurship, or creative work—and you understand how to convert ambition into measurable outcomes, this position leverages your experience for their growth.

Teaching credentials unnecessary. Exceptional performance essential.

Develop talent. Shape trajectories. Submit your application.

What you will be doing

  • Engaging students daily through direct mentorship and motivation—no traditional teaching, only high-impact coaching at the peer level
  • Leveraging adaptive learning technology and AI tools to enable individualized learning progression
  • Facilitating small-group sessions on leadership development, practical life skills, and success frameworks
  • Supporting students in identifying personal strengths and broadening aspirations via tailored growth strategies
  • Shaping Alpha's evolving educational model by providing data analysis, actionable insights, and innovative thinking

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Documented high-performance achievements (e.g. top academic honors, D1/Olympic athletics, national competitions, etc.)
  • 3 year's experience working directly with K–8 students in a mentoring, coaching, or instructional capacity
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Willingness to work in-person at Miami, FL; New York City, NY; Santa Barbara, CA or San Francisco, CA
