Performance Coach   $120,000 USD/year

Description

  • Onsite position available in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, NYC, or Miami

Traditional schools confine exceptional students to lecture-based classrooms built for median achievement.

Alpha operates differently: we deliver student-driven learning experiences that scale with capability rather than standardized curriculum timelines.

Your role will not involve overseeing 30 seated students or adhering to district-mandated lesson plans. Instead, you will coach focused cohorts of self-motivated learners pursuing accelerated growth, intellectual depth, and educational ownership. If your success stems from non-traditional achievement—competitive performance, athletic excellence, entrepreneurial ventures, or creative disciplines—and you understand how to convert ambition into measurable outcomes, this position leverages your strengths to unlock theirs.

Teaching certification is not necessary. Exceptional performance is.

  • Guiding students in identifying personal strengths and broadening their aspirations via customized development plans
