Education Coach   $120,000 USD/year

Description

  • On-site position available in Miami, San Francisco, or Santa Barbara
  • Annual salary of $120,000, distributed weekly. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage begins on day one
  • Relocation assistance provided for qualified candidates

Consider why conventional education systems confine gifted students to lecture formats built for the middle of the bell curve.

Alpha is constructing a fundamentally different model: learner-driven education that scales to individual capability rather than standardized curriculum timelines.

This position does not involve classroom management of 30 students or adherence to state-mandated syllabi. Instead, you will guide focused cohorts of self-motivated students determined to accelerate their progress, deepen their understanding, and take ownership of their academic trajectory. If your success has come through non-traditional channels—competitive achievement, athletic excellence, business ventures, or artistic mastery—and you understand how to convert ambition into measurable outcomes, this role lets you translate that experience into student achievement.

Teaching credentials are not required. Exceptional performance is.

Develop talent. Shape trajectories. Submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Inspiring and guiding students through consistent, hands-on engagement—coaching rather than lecturing, operating as a high-performing peer
  • Leveraging adaptive educational technology and AI-driven platforms to enable individualized learning progression
  • Facilitating focused small-group sessions centered on practical life competencies, leadership development, and strategies for real-world achievement
  • Supporting students in identifying personal strengths and broadening their aspirations via customized development roadmaps
  • Participating in the continuous evolution of Alpha's educational framework through data analysis, feedback, and innovative thinking

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Documented history of exceptional achievement (examples: top academic honors, D1/Olympic athletics, national competitions, etc.)
  • 3 year's experience working directly with K–8 students in a mentoring, coaching, or instructional capacity
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Willingness to work in-person at Miami, FL or Santa Barbara, CA
