Admissions Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This role is in-person and based at one of our campuses.

If you thrive on taking initiative rather than waiting for direction, this role is designed for you. This is a unique opportunity to join one of Alpha's most recently launched campuses and contribute meaningfully from the outset. You won't simply join an established team—you'll actively shape its culture, establish operational standards, and develop alongside the campus as it expands.

At Alpha, maintaining the status quo is not our objective. We are creating something fundamentally better for students and their families. We seek someone capable of assuming complete ownership over both the enrollment experience for new families and the operational logistics that ensure our campus functions efficiently.

This position differs significantly from conventional admissions roles. You will not be confined to desk work sending templated communications or buried in administrative tasks. Rather, you will conduct impactful family tours, establish trust with prospective parents, and shepherd them through a personalized and seamless admissions process. Concurrently, you will maintain campus safety, regulatory compliance, and readiness to welcome students and families with assurance.

Alpha is a K–12 private institution that fundamentally rethinks how children are educated. We utilize adaptive applications and expert Guides to provide individualized, mastery-based learning that equips students for real life, not merely standardized assessments. In this capacity, you will represent the frontline of that mission, bringing it to life for every family who enters our facility.

If you are prepared to accelerate your growth while contributing to work that matters, we invite your application.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting personalized, conversion-focused family tours that communicate Alpha's three commitments and build confidence in our educational model.
  • Executing and managing proactive outreach strategies with prospective families to advance them through the enrollment pipeline.
  • Implementing stringent safety and safeguarding measures to maintain a demonstrably secure environment for students and families.
  • Managing all facilities operations, including preventative maintenance scheduling, vendor liaison, and repair management.
  • Regularly evaluating data to optimize processes and enhance both operational performance and enrollment results.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Being limited to a single, monotonous administrative function or isolated departmental role.
  • Operating under restrictive, hierarchical micromanagement that limits your autonomy.
  • Dealing with bureaucratic obstacles that impede tangible progress.
  • Concentrating solely on documentation, removed from direct engagement with students and families.

Key responsibilities

Take full ownership of delivering a seamless, high-impact admissions experience while ensuring a safe, operationally sound campus environment, positioning Alpha to scale and fulfill its commitments to families.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • 1+ years of experience in school admissions or enrollment functions
  • Prior experience working directly with children/students
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence, proactive mindset, and self-direction.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in person at one of the following locations: Palm Beach, FL; Miami, FL; Piedmont, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Roswell, GA or Raleigh, NC.
