Admissions Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role based at one of our campuses.

If you're someone who prefers to take action rather than wait for approval, this role will suit you. This is a compelling opportunity to join one of Alpha's most recently opened campuses and leave a lasting impact from the outset. You won't simply be a team member—you'll actively contribute to shaping the culture, establishing standards, and developing alongside the campus as it expands.

At Alpha, we're not focused on preserving the status quo. We're creating something better for students and their families. We're seeking someone who can assume complete ownership of both the enrollment experience for new families and the day-to-day operations that ensure our campus functions efficiently.

This is not a conventional admissions position. You won't be confined to a desk sending generic emails or buried in administrative tasks. Instead, you'll conduct high-impact tours for families, establish trust with prospective parents, and shepherd them through a smooth, tailored admissions process. Simultaneously, you'll maintain a campus that is secure, compliant, and consistently prepared to welcome students and families with assurance.

Alpha is a K–12 private school that transforms how children learn. We combine adaptive apps with expert Guides to provide personalized, mastery-based education that equips students for life, not merely for standardized tests. In this role, you'll serve as the front line of that mission, bringing it to life for every family who enters our doors.

If you're prepared to grow rapidly while engaging in meaningful work, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting personalized, high-conversion family tours that communicate Alpha's three commitments and build confidence in our educational model.
  • Executing and managing proactive outreach strategies with prospective families to advance them through the admissions process.
  • Implementing rigorous safety and safeguarding protocols to establish a visibly secure environment for students and families.
  • Managing all facets of facilities operations, from preventative maintenance to vendor coordination and repair management.
  • Regularly analyzing data to optimize processes and enhance both operational performance and enrollment results.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Being limited to a single, repetitive administrative function or isolated department.
  • Operating under rigid, top-down micromanagement that limits your initiative.
  • Dealing with bureaucratic red tape that impedes meaningful progress.
  • Concentrating solely on paperwork, removed from the students and families you serve.

Key responsibilities

Take ownership of and deliver a seamless, high-impact admissions experience while maintaining a secure, well-functioning campus environment, allowing Alpha to expand and fulfill its commitment to families.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (no specific field required)
  • 1+ years experience in school admissions or enrollment
  • Experience working with children/students
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, initiative, and self-management.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be available to work in person in Palm Beach, FL; Miami, FL; Piedmont, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Roswell, GA or Raleigh, NC.
