Campus Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role based at one of our campus locations.

Many schools hide operations behind closed doors, approval chains, and scheduled meetings. Alpha takes a different approach. This role places you front and center throughout the day: welcoming families, resolving device problems, managing arrival logistics, reassuring concerned parents, liaising with vendors, and ensuring the campus environment feels secure, polished, and distinctly Alpha.

We're looking for someone who can be approachable without losing authority, systematized without relying solely on protocols, and self-assured without distancing themselves from hands-on work. You'll be accountable for nearly all non-instructional operations: family communications, attendance management, campus security, facility oversight, meal coordination, technology support, event execution, and the minor issues that escalate quickly without prompt intervention.

You won't be supported by a large on-site operations staff. You'll have access to documentation, remote assistance, and established protocols, but you must demonstrate the ability to absorb information quickly, leverage available resources, and exercise sound judgment independently. The long-term benefit is establishing yourself as the dependable presence families trust, guides turn to, and students approach when problems require resolution.

If you're seeking a frontline school operations position where professionalism, discretion, communication, and accountability are exercised daily, submit your application now.

What you will be doing

  • Serve as the primary reliable contact for parents, students, staff, and campus visitors, delivering clear, composed, and prompt communication.
  • Oversee daily campus operations, encompassing arrival and dismissal routines, attendance tracking, transportation coordination, meal logistics, campus presentation, event management, and facility maintenance follow-through.
  • Address safety protocols and student welfare matters, including entry control, emergency drills, health-related incidents, record-keeping, and parent notifications.
  • Administer student devices and foundational campus technology needs, including initial setup, account assistance, technical troubleshooting, data backups, repair coordination, and escalation to centralized tech support teams.
  • Cultivate trust with Guides, external vendors, and families by prioritizing helpfulness while upholding institutional standards.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Operating from a secluded office while others manage parent and student interactions.
  • Delivering classroom instruction, mentoring Guides, or developing academic content.
  • Deferring to a supervisor for resolution of every challenge before taking action.
  • Managing campus operations through prolonged meetings when immediate responses are required.
  • Delegating facilities, devices, vendor relations, or meal coordination as outside your scope.

Key responsibilities

Deliver a secure, efficient, and inviting campus environment that consistently earns the confidence of students, parents, and staff.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar operational roles
  • Comfort with basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across parents, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Piedmont, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Fort Worth, TX; Keller, TX; Carrolton, TX; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Park City, UT; Tulsa, OK; Tampa, FL; Denver, CO; or Brentwood, TN — or willing to relocate
