Long-term role

Campus Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

A well-run campus operates invisibly. A poorly run one disrupts everything. This position ensures that Alpha campuses function with reliability, safety, and precision—without exception.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-thinking education systems. Our classrooms demand speed. Our expectations are exacting. Supporting that requires campus operations that are structured, agile, and designed to grow. This role is responsible for all non-instructional systems that enable students and Guides to excel.

As the Campus Coordinator, you serve as the operational foundation of the site. You handle communication with parents and staff, manage security and safety protocols, maintain facility and logistical efficiency, and ensure that technology functions dependably for all users. You respond when systems fail, identify risks before they materialize, and deliver structured stability in fast-moving environments.

This is not a limited support position. It is a direct, high-exposure role suited to someone energized by ownership, complexity, and execution. If you seek work where your choices directly influence student safety, staff performance, and parent confidence, this role delivers genuine responsibility and impact.

What you will be doing

  • Serving as a central liaison for parents, students, and staff to provide prompt, clear, and professional communication
  • Overseeing campus security and safety functions including entry management, health responses, emergency drills, incident records, and family notifications
  • Coordinating daily campus operations including attendance systems, transportation logistics, facility upkeep, and administrative functions
  • Assisting with the onboarding and orientation of new employees to guarantee operational preparedness from the start
  • Administering student technology and campus devices, functioning as the on-site Google Administrator and technology support contact

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or contributing to academic support
  • Mentoring Guides or influencing curriculum design
  • Functioning in a strictly clerical or tightly defined capacity
  • Working within a static or entirely routine environment
  • Escalating unresolved issues without taking ownership of solutions

Key responsibilities

Sustain secure, effective, and dependable campus operations that continually enhance the experience for students, staff, and families.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar operational roles
  • Comfort with basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across parents, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be available to work in person in Piedmont, CA; Palo Alto, CA, Chicago; IL or Fort Worth; TX
