Customer Support Representative   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at one of our campus locations.

If you're someone who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do, this role is designed for you. This is a unique opportunity to join one of Alpha's most recently launched campuses and leave a lasting impact from the very beginning. You won't simply be a member of the team—you'll actively contribute to shaping the culture, establishing standards, and expanding with the campus as it grows.

At Alpha, maintaining the status quo is not our mission. We're creating something better for students and their families. We need someone who can assume complete ownership of the new family enrollment experience and the everyday operations that ensure our campus functions effectively.

This is not a typical admissions position. You won't spend your days confined to a desk sending template emails or buried in administrative tasks. Instead, you'll conduct impactful family tours, establish trust with prospective parents, and shepherd them through a smooth, customized admissions process. Simultaneously, you'll guarantee our campus remains safe, compliant, and consistently prepared to welcome students and families with professionalism.

Alpha is a K–12 private school that transforms the way children learn. We leverage adaptive applications and skilled Guides to provide personalized, mastery-based education that equips students for life beyond standardized testing. In this position, you'll serve as the frontline representative of that mission, bringing it to life for every family who enters our campus.

If you're prepared to advance rapidly while contributing to meaningful work, we'd like to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting personalized, high-conversion family tours that communicate Alpha's three commitments and build confidence in our educational model.
  • Designing and implementing proactive outreach strategies with prospective families to advance them through the admissions pipeline.
  • Maintaining strict safety and safeguarding standards to establish a demonstrably secure environment for students and families.
  • Managing all facilities operations, including preventative maintenance, vendor management, and repair coordination.
  • Regularly reviewing data to optimize processes and enhance both operational performance and enrollment results.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Being limited to a single, monotonous administrative function or isolated department.
  • Operating under restrictive, hierarchical micromanagement that limits your autonomy.
  • Dealing with bureaucratic obstacles that impede meaningful action.
  • Concentrating solely on documentation, detached from the students and families you're here to support.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a seamless, high-impact admissions experience while sustaining a safe, efficiently operating campus environment, empowering Alpha to expand and fulfill its commitments to families.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (no specific field required)
  • 1+ years experience in school admissions or enrollment
  • Experience working with children/students
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, initiative, and self-management.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be available to work in person in Palm Beach, FL; Miami, FL; Piedmont, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Roswell, GA or Raleigh, NC.
