Campus Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions properly. A well-run campus creates an environment where students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents have confidence in the institution. This outcome is not accidental. It results from someone quietly managing hundreds of moving parts each day—with precision, responsiveness, and attention.

Alpha is constructing one of the most challenging educational models globally. We integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and staff. This position ensures that the non-instructional operations of the campus meet the same standards as our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your responsibilities include community outreach, campus security, facilities management and logistics, and daily technology support. At any given moment, you might be organizing a safety exercise, troubleshooting a technical issue, bringing a new employee up to speed, or responding to a parent inquiry. Your work extends beyond maintenance—you build trust.

This is a practical, campus-based position for someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed under stress, and values delivering superior service. If you seek work where your choices directly influence student safety, staff performance, and parent confidence, this role provides genuine authority and meaningful results.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central communication hub for parents, students, and staff, providing clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Overseeing campus security functions, including entry management, medical situations, emergency exercises, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Coordinating daily campus functions such as attendance tracking, facility management, transportation arrangements, and administrative logistics
  • Assisting with new employee orientation and training to facilitate seamless integration into campus workflows
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, serving as the on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programming
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum design
  • Operating within a limited, specialized administrative capacity
  • Performing predictable, routine tasks from a fixed workstation
  • Escalating issues without taking responsibility for their resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain smooth, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
