Campus Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A campus operates smoothly when students experience safety, staff maintain focus, and parents place confidence in the institution. This outcome is not coincidental. It results from someone consistently managing countless operational details each day—with precision, responsiveness, and thoughtfulness.

Alpha is developing one of the world's most forward-thinking school models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated performance standards for both students and adults. This position ensures that the non-instructional components of campus life meet the same excellence found in our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your responsibilities span community relations, campus security, facility management and logistics, plus daily technology support. At any given time, you might be organizing a safety procedure, troubleshooting a technology issue, onboarding a staff member, or responding to a parent inquiry. Your work extends beyond maintenance—you build institutional credibility.

This is a practical, on-campus position suited for someone who excels in fluid settings, maintains composure during challenges, and values delivering exceptional service standards. If you seek a role where your choices influence student safety, staff productivity, and family confidence directly, this opportunity provides genuine authority and measurable results.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact for families, students, and team members, providing clear, prompt, and courteous communication
  • Directing campus safety functions, including entry systems, health matters, emergency procedures, record-keeping, and family updates
  • Supervising everyday campus functions including attendance tracking, facility management, transit arrangements, and administrative workflows
  • Assisting with orientation and preparation of new personnel to facilitate seamless operational integration
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, serving as the on-site technical resource and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programs
  • Mentoring Guides or directing curriculum design
  • Operating within a limited, single-purpose clerical capacity
  • Remaining stationary with routine, unchanging responsibilities
  • Delegating issues without accountability or follow-through

Key responsibilities

Maintain seamless, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously enhance the quality of experience and satisfaction for students, staff, and families.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Piedmont, CA; Boston, MA; Miami Beach, FL; Greenwich, CT; South Bay (LA), CA; Bethesda, MD; La Jolla (San Diego), CA; Boca Raton, FL; Santa Barbara, CA — or willing to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
