Campus Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A well-run campus creates an environment where students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents place confidence in the institution. This outcome is not accidental. It results from someone methodically managing countless details each day—with precision, immediacy, and attentiveness.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and staff. This position exists to guarantee that the campus's non-instructional operations meet the same standards as our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your scope includes community outreach, campus security, facility management and logistics, and routine technology administration. At any given moment, you might be organizing a safety exercise, troubleshooting a technology issue, integrating a new team member, or responding to a parent inquiry. Your role extends beyond maintenance—you are building institutional confidence.

This is a practical, on-campus position designed for someone who excels in fluid environments, maintains composure under pressure, and is committed to upholding elevated service standards. If you seek work where your choices directly influence student safety, staff productivity, and parental confidence, this role provides genuine ownership and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a key contact for parents, students, and staff, providing clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Overseeing campus security functions, including entry management, medical situations, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Directing daily campus functions such as attendance tracking, facility oversight, transportation coordination, and administrative logistics
  • Assisting with orientation and training for incoming staff to facilitate seamless operational integration
  • Administering student technology and campus devices, functioning as the on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programming
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum design
  • Operating within a limited, single-responsibility administrative capacity
  • Remaining stationary at a desk performing routine, unchanging duties
  • Transferring issues to others without taking ownership or achieving resolution

Key responsibilities

Guarantee seamless, secure, and efficient campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and families.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
