Campus Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

At Alpha, you will not simply discuss transforming lives through education—you will deliver it. This position serves as the front line of both growth and oversight: the individual who persuades families to enroll in our school and ensures that once enrolled, their children learn in a secure, well-managed environment.

This role differs from most school-based positions by combining admissions accountability with direct campus operations management. You will serve as the trusted voice families hear during their decision-making journey, and the reliable presence that maintains daily safety and facility standards so educators can concentrate on producing outstanding learning results.

Alpha is a rapidly expanding school where drive meets discipline. Families enroll because they trust our three commitments—and they remain because every element of the experience, from the admissions walkthrough to the morning arrival process, strengthens confidence. If you are motivated by the prospect of advancing both enrollment and operational quality in a high-stakes, mission-centered setting, this is where you will excel.

What you will be doing

  • Leading tailored campus walkthroughs that persuade families by highlighting Alpha's distinctive commitments.
  • Guiding prospective families through the enrollment process with timely, considerate, and consistent outreach.
  • Maintaining daily adherence to all safety protocols and proactively identifying potential hazards.
  • Overseeing facilities with a preventive mindset, liaising with vendors, and securing cost-efficient, timely maintenance.
  • Monitoring data across enrollment and operations to improve methods and produce quantifiable outcomes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or creating curriculum—your attention is on operational quality, not pedagogy.
  • Following inflexible procedures or waiting for others to step in—this position requires proactive accountability.
  • Conducting generic, templated tours or standardized email correspondence.
  • Working in isolation—cross-functional collaboration with staff, parents, and vendors is fundamental.

Key responsibilities

Increase student enrollment while sustaining a safe, compliant, and efficiently operated campus that enables guides to concentrate exclusively on achieving educational results.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Proven experience in admissions, enrollment, or a client-facing capacity with families or students.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly.
  • Comfort with data tracking and analysis.
  • Independent, self-directed worker with strong initiative.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
