Description

LOCATION NOTE: This in-person position is based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

You are the person who ensures everything functions. A campus operates smoothly when students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents have confidence in the school. This outcome is not coincidental. It results from someone systematically managing hundreds of details daily—with precision, responsiveness, and attention.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-driven learning, and elevated standards for both students and staff. This position ensures that the non-instructional aspects of campus life meet the same standard as our academic programs.

In this position, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your responsibilities include community communication, campus security, facilities coordination, and daily technology administration. In a single day, you might organize a safety drill, troubleshoot a device problem, onboard a staff member, or respond to a parent question. Your role extends beyond maintenance—you build trust and reliability.

This is a practical, on-campus position for someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed under stress, and values delivering exceptional service. If you seek work where your choices directly influence student safety, staff productivity, and parent confidence, this role provides genuine ownership and meaningful impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a key contact for parents, students, and staff, maintaining clear, responsive, and professional communication
  • Overseeing campus security functions, including entry control, health events, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family communication
  • Directing daily campus operations including attendance systems, facilities management, transportation logistics, and office administration
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for new team members to ensure seamless integration into campus workflows
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, serving as the on-site tech contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic content
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum design
  • Operating within a limited, single-task administrative capacity
  • Performing routine, unchanging tasks from a fixed desk
  • Delegating issues without taking ownership or driving resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain smooth, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
