Campus Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

At Alpha, you won't simply discuss transforming lives through education—you'll actively drive that transformation. This position represents the intersection of enrollment growth and operational stewardship: the individual who persuades families to choose our school and guarantees that once enrolled, their children experience learning within a secure, efficiently managed environment.

This role differs from typical school positions by combining admissions accountability with direct campus operations management. You'll serve as the trusted voice families hear during their enrollment journey, while also acting as the reliable presence that maintains daily safety and facility standards so educators can concentrate on producing outstanding learning results.

Alpha is a rapidly expanding school where aspiration aligns with organization. Families enroll because they trust our three core commitments—and they remain because every element of their experience, from initial campus visits to morning arrival procedures, builds confidence. If you're motivated by the prospect of advancing both institutional growth and operational quality in a high-stakes, purpose-driven setting, this position offers that opportunity.

What you will be doing

  • Leading customized campus visits that convince families by highlighting Alpha's distinctive commitments.
  • Supporting prospective families throughout the enrollment process with attentive, considerate, and consistent outreach.
  • Maintaining daily adherence to all safety and safeguarding standards while proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Overseeing facilities with a preventative mindset, liaising with vendors, and securing cost-efficient, timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitoring data across enrollment and operational functions to improve strategies and produce quantifiable outcomes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or designing curriculum—your priority is operational performance, not academic programming.
  • Following inflexible procedures or deferring to others for action—this position demands proactive accountability.
  • Conducting standardized, impersonal tours or sending templated correspondence.
  • Working in isolation—cross-functional collaboration with staff, families, and external partners is essential.

Key responsibilities

Generate growth in student enrollment while upholding a safe, compliant, and effectively managed campus that enables guides to dedicate their full attention to achieving educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Proven background in admissions, enrollment, or a client-facing capacity involving families or students.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence and capacity to establish trust rapidly.
  • Proficiency with data tracking and analysis.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous professional with strong initiative.
  • Availability to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
