Campus Operations Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

You are the person who ensures everything functions properly. When a campus operates smoothly, students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents have confidence in the school. This outcome is not accidental. It occurs because someone is methodically managing hundreds of moving parts each day—with precision, responsiveness, and genuine attention.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-supported instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and adults. This position ensures the non-instructional operations of the campus meet the same standards we maintain in our classrooms.

In this position, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your responsibilities include community communication, campus security, facilities and logistics oversight, and daily technology administration. You might coordinate an emergency drill one moment, troubleshoot a technical issue the next, onboard a new team member, or respond to a parent inquiry. You are not simply maintaining operations—you are building trust and reliability.

This is a practical, on-site position for someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed under stress, and values delivering exceptional service. If you seek work where your choices directly influence student safety, staff productivity, and parent confidence, this role provides genuine ownership and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a key contact for parents, students, and staff, maintaining clear, prompt, and professional communication across all interactions
  • Overseeing campus security functions, including entry management, health responses, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Coordinating daily campus functions including attendance tracking, facility management, transportation logistics, and general office administration
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation for new staff members to facilitate seamless adoption of campus procedures
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, serving as the on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programming
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum planning
  • Operating in a limited, single-task administrative capacity
  • Working from a desk performing routine, unchanging duties
  • Escalating issues without taking responsibility or driving resolution

Key responsibilities

Deliver smooth, secure, and effective campus operations that consistently enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Miami Beach, FL; Greenwich, CT; CA; Bethesda, MD; Santa Barbara, CA; Boston, MA — or willing to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
