School Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

At Alpha, you won't simply discuss transforming lives through education—you'll actively drive it. This position serves as the frontline for expansion and protection: the individual who persuades families to enroll and ensures that once enrolled, their children experience a secure, efficiently managed environment.

Unlike traditional school roles, this position merges admissions accountability with direct campus management. You'll serve as the trusted voice families hear throughout their enrollment journey, and the reliable presence maintaining daily safety and facility operations so educators can concentrate on achieving outstanding learning results.

Alpha is a rapidly expanding school where aspiration aligns with discipline. Families enroll because they trust our three core commitments—and they remain because every element of their experience, from the initial campus visit to morning arrival routines, builds confidence. If the prospect of fueling both expansion and operational rigor in a high-stakes, purpose-driven setting energizes you, this is your opportunity.

What you will be doing

  • Leading tailored campus tours that convert families by demonstrating Alpha's distinct commitments.
  • Supporting prospective families throughout the enrollment pipeline with timely, considerate, and consistent outreach.
  • Maintaining daily adherence to all safeguarding standards and proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities.
  • Overseeing facilities with a preventive mindset, liaising with contractors, and securing cost-efficient, timely maintenance.
  • Monitoring metrics across enrollment and operations to optimize strategies and produce quantifiable outcomes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or designing curriculum—your emphasis is on operational quality, not instruction.
  • Following inflexible procedures or awaiting directives—this position demands proactive responsibility.
  • Conducting standardized, rehearsed tours or sending templated correspondence.
  • Working in isolation—partnership with colleagues, families, and external providers is essential.

Key responsibilities

Drive higher student enrollment while sustaining a secure, regulation-compliant, and efficiently operating campus that enables guides to dedicate themselves entirely to achieving educational results.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Proven background in admissions, enrollment, or a family-facing role involving students or parents.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence and capability to establish trust rapidly.
  • Proficiency with data tracking and analysis.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous professional with robust initiative.
  • Availability to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
