Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions as intended. A smoothly operating campus creates an environment where students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents place their confidence in the institution. This outcome is not accidental. It results from someone coordinating countless operational elements each day—with precision, responsiveness, and attention.

Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking school models globally. We integrate demanding academics, technology-supported instruction, and elevated standards for both students and staff. This position ensures that the non-instructional operations of the campus meet the same excellence found in our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your scope includes community outreach, campus security, facilities management, and daily technology support. At any given moment, you might be organizing a safety protocol, troubleshooting a technical issue, welcoming a new team member, or responding to a parent inquiry. Your work extends beyond maintenance—you build institutional confidence.

This is a practical, campus-based position suited to someone who excels in fast-paced settings, maintains composure when challenges arise, and values delivering exceptional service. If you seek a role where your choices immediately influence student safety, staff performance, and parental confidence, this opportunity provides genuine autonomy and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact for parents, students, and staff, providing clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Overseeing campus security functions, including entry systems, health-related incidents, emergency procedures, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Directing day-to-day campus functions such as attendance tracking, facility coordination, transportation arrangements, and administrative logistics
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for incoming staff to ensure seamless operational integration
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, serving as the on-site technical coordinator and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programming
  • Mentoring Guides or participating in curriculum design
  • Operating within a limited, specialized administrative capacity
  • Performing routine, stationary office tasks with little variation
  • Redirecting challenges without taking responsibility for their resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain seamless, secure, and productive campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and confidence of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
