Description

This position focuses entirely on motivating students—not managing paperwork, enforcing rules, or following prescribed curricula.

Novatio School has redesigned the educational model to prioritize creativity, self-assurance, and intellectual curiosity. Students complete their core academic work in just two concentrated morning hours using an AI-driven learning system. The afternoon schedule is dedicated to exploration: students participate in experiential workshops that build practical skills and broaden their sense of what's achievable.

Instead of traditional instruction, you'll serve as the mentor every learner needs—someone who encourages them consistently and cultivates vital life competencies through engaging, applied workshops.

This is not a role centered on virtual classroom management—it's about igniting innovative thinking, guiding students as they pursue their objectives, and enabling them to uncover their full potential. If you're ready to rethink the meaning of education, we'd like to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating engaging virtual workshops that develop life skills including collaboration, interpersonal communication, entrepreneurial thinking, and creative self-expression
  • Guiding students through immersion tracks using project-based, experiential learning methods
  • Building a welcoming, dynamic virtual environment where students are encouraged to take risks and develop
  • Leveraging learning analytics and student insights to customize support and motivation for each individual
  • Working alongside educators from diverse time zones and cultural backgrounds to provide a responsive, adaptable learning experience

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing foundational academic content (our AI tutors manage that)
  • Adhering to a fixed timetable or instructional framework
  • Conducting lecture-based, one-directional learning sessions

Key responsibilities

Motivate students globally to develop into self-assured problem-solvers by facilitating experiential life-skills workshops within a virtual-first, adaptable school setting.

Candidate requirements

  • Valid US teaching certificate from any state
  • Strong virtual presence; comfortable leading via video
  • Ready to begin by the end of July

Nice to have

  • Spanish fluency (highly valued for our immersion track)
  • Experience leading bilingual workshops, clubs, or enrichment programs
  • Background in project-based learning, creative education, or alternative schools
