As a Youth Development Coach, you won't be delivering conventional lessons. Instead, you'll become a catalyst for growth—a mentor who empowers students daily, nurturing essential life skills through dynamic, engaging workshops.

This isn't about virtual classroom management—it's about fostering bold thinking, guiding students toward their aspirations, and helping them unlock their full potential. If you're ready to redefine the meaning of education, we're eager to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating engaging virtual workshops that develop crucial life skills including collaboration, effective communication, entrepreneurial thinking, and creative self-expression
  • Mentoring students through immersion tracks with experiential, project-centered learning approaches
  • Cultivating a vibrant, supportive virtual environment where students feel empowered to take risks and develop
  • Leveraging student performance data to provide personalized encouragement and support
  • Partnering with a diverse team of educators across multiple time zones to create a dynamic, adaptable learning journey

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering instruction in core academic subjects (our AI tutors handle this aspect)
  • Working within inflexible schedules or prescribed teaching methodologies
  • Conducting traditional lecture-based sessions with passive student participation

Key responsibilities

Empower students globally to develop into self-assured problem-solvers through the facilitation of immersive skill-building workshops within our innovative virtual-first, flexible learning ecosystem.

Candidate requirements

  • Current US teaching certification (any state accepted)
  • Proven track record in teaching, mentoring, or youth coaching (preferably with Grades 4-8)
  • Exceptional virtual communication skills and camera presence
  • Commitment to full-time hours (Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm Arizona time)
  • Ability to start within 2-3 weeks of offer
  • Passion for technology-enhanced, student-driven educational approaches

Nice to have

  • Spanish language proficiency (particularly valuable for our immersion programming)
  • Previous experience conducting bilingual enrichment activities, clubs, or specialized workshops
  • Experience with project-based methodologies, creative educational approaches, or non-traditional school settings
