Description

Your role would center entirely on motivating students—not on grading assignments, managing behavior, or following preset curricula.

Novatio School has reimagined education from the ground up, placing creativity, confidence, and curiosity front and center. Students complete their academic work in just two highly focused morning hours using an AI-driven learning platform. The afternoon is reserved for exploration. That's when students engage in practical workshops built to develop real-world capabilities and broaden their sense of what's achievable.

Instead of traditional instruction, you'll serve as the mentor every learner needs—someone who energizes them each day and cultivates essential life competencies through engaging, activity-driven workshops.

This position is not about overseeing a conventional virtual classroom—it's about igniting ambitious thinking, guiding students as they pursue their aspirations, and empowering them to uncover their full potential. What you will be doing

  • Facilitating engaging virtual workshops that build life skills including teamwork, communication, entrepreneurship, and creative expression
  • Guiding students through immersion tracks using hands-on, project-based learning methods
  • Cultivating a supportive, energized virtual environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and develop
  • Leveraging learning data and student insights to customize support and motivation for each individual
  • Working alongside educators from diverse time zones and cultural backgrounds to provide a dynamic, adaptable learning experience

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing in core academic disciplines (these are covered by our AI tutoring system)
  • Adhering to a fixed schedule or prescribed teaching framework
  • Conducting lecture-based, passive instruction sessions

Key responsibilities

Motivate students globally to grow into confident problem-solvers by facilitating immersive life-skills workshops within a virtual-first, flexible school setting.

Candidate requirements

  • Valid US teaching certificate from any state
  • Experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching students (Grades 4–8 preferred)
  • Strong virtual presence; comfortable leading via video
  • Available to work full-time (M–F, 8am–5pm Arizona time)
  • Ready to begin within 2-3 weeks
  • Excited to work in a tech-forward, student-centered school

Nice to have

  • Spanish fluency (highly valued for our immersion track)
  • Experience leading bilingual workshops, clubs, or enrichment programs
  • Background in project-based learning, creative education, or alternative schools
