Youth Development Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This hybrid position requires you to be physically located in Arizona.

Licensed educators ready to move beyond classroom management and into life-changing mentorship, this opportunity is for you.

Imagine a role where lesson plans, lectures, and grading are no longer the focus—instead, you dedicate your energy entirely to mentoring young people into confident, capable individuals.

Unbound Academy redefines what teaching means. This hybrid position supports a tuition-free, fully virtual Arizona charter school that trades worksheets for experiential learning and prioritizes personal development. Students handle core academics independently through AI-powered platforms in just two focused hours daily. The remainder of their day is devoted to acquiring real-world skills via guided workshops, personalized coaching, and active exploration.

Your role won't involve delivering scripted content or monitoring a virtual classroom. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions that push students to think critically, create, collaborate, and develop as individuals. You'll guide them through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and analytical thinking while nurturing independence, self-assurance, and executive function.

This position is not designed for educators attempting to recreate conventional schooling through video conferencing. It's built for licensed teachers prepared to relocate to Arizona, embrace a hybrid structure, and support students in ways that genuinely equip them for life beyond school. If classroom administrative tasks no longer inspire you and you're prepared for the most impactful work of your teaching career, continue reading.
