Youth Development Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

  • Hybrid AZ · W2 · $60K/yr

Licensed educators prepared to transition from traditional classroom management to life-changing mentorship are invited to apply.

Imagine a teaching role centered not on lesson plans, lectures, or grading stacks of papers—but on coaching young people toward confidence and competence in the real world.

Unbound Academy has redesigned what teaching means. This hybrid position supports a tuition-free, fully virtual Arizona charter school that replaces busywork with experiential learning and prioritizes personal development. Students handle core academics independently through AI-powered platforms in two concentrated hours daily. The remainder of their day is dedicated to skill-building via facilitated workshops, mentorship, and self-directed exploration.

Your role will not involve delivering scripted content or policing virtual attendance. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions that push students to think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and develop as individuals. You'll guide them through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness challenges, and complex problem-solving—all while fostering independence, self-assurance, and strong executive function.

This position is not suited to educators seeking to recreate conventional schooling in a digital format. It's designed for licensed teachers willing to relocate to Arizona, engage in a hybrid work model, and coach students in ways that genuinely equip them for adulthood. If traditional classroom busywork no longer fulfills you and you're ready for deeply impactful work, continue reading.
