Student Success Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

  • Hybrid AZ · W2 · $60K/yr

Licensed teachers ready to shift from traditional classroom management to direct student impact are encouraged to apply.

Imagine a teaching role where lesson plans, lectures, and grading are removed from your workload—replaced by a full focus on coaching young people toward confidence and capability.

Unbound Academy has redesigned what teaching means. This hybrid position supports a tuition-free, fully virtual Arizona charter school that replaces conventional worksheets with experiential learning and prioritizes personal development. Students handle core academics independently through AI-powered platforms in two concentrated hours each day. The remainder of their schedule is devoted to developing practical skills via facilitated workshops, mentorship, and self-directed exploration.

Your role will not involve delivering scripted content or managing behavior in a virtual classroom. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions that push students to think critically, collaborate, create, and evolve. You'll guide them through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and critical thinking while fostering independence, self-assurance, and executive function skills.

This position is not intended for educators seeking to replicate conventional schooling in a remote format. It is designed for licensed teachers prepared to relocate to Arizona, operate within a hybrid structure, and equip students with tools that genuinely prepare them for life beyond school. If you are finished with classroom busywork and ready to engage in the most impactful work of your teaching career, continue reading.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing core academic subjects; these are delivered through adaptive AI tutoring systems
  • Presenting scripted lectures or operating within a traditional classroom framework
