Virtual Learning Facilitator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

  • Hybrid AZ · W2 · $60K/yr

Licensed educators wanted to move beyond traditional classroom management and focus on transformative student development.

Imagine a teaching role where lesson planning, lecturing, and grading are no longer your central responsibilities—replaced instead by a singular focus on coaching students to become self-assured, capable individuals.

Unbound Academy redefines what teaching means. This hybrid position supports a tuition-free Arizona virtual charter school that eliminates worksheets in favor of experiential learning and prioritizes holistic personal development. Core academics are completed by students independently in two concentrated daily hours using AI-driven platforms. The remaining time centers on cultivating practical competencies through facilitated workshops, individualized coaching, and exploratory activities.

Your role will not involve delivering predetermined lesson content or monitoring behavior in a virtual space. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions that push students to think critically, innovate, work together, and mature. Through storytelling, entrepreneurial thinking, wellness practices, and strategic problem-solving, you'll guide learners toward independence, self-confidence, and strong executive functioning.

This position does not suit educators seeking to recreate conventional schooling in a digital format. It requires licensed teachers prepared to relocate to Arizona, operate within a hybrid framework, and engage students in ways that authentically equip them for adulthood. If traditional classroom routines no longer fulfill you and you seek the most impactful work of your professional life, continue reading.

  • Facilitating engaging virtual workshops centered on essential life competencies including communication, creative thinking, analytical problem-solving, and self-management
  • Providing individualized and small-group mentorship to cultivate student confidence, accountability, and executive function capabilities
  • Leveraging platform analytics and behavioral indicators to tailor support strategies and monitor developmental progress longitudinally
  • Partnering with peer educators to design and refine experiential, project-driven learning opportunities
  • Establishing a supportive, energized virtual space where students feel recognized, appropriately challenged, and inspired toward growth

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing foundational academic content; adaptive AI tutoring systems manage those subjects
  • Presenting scripted instructional material or operating within a conventional classroom structure
  • Evaluating worksheets, distributing homework assignments, or developing standardized lesson frameworks

Key responsibilities

Facilitate student maturation and real-world preparedness by delivering impactful, application-based learning experiences in a hybrid virtual school environment.
