What you will be doing

  • Conducting innovative reading workshops that build core skills in phonics, comprehension, and fluency
  • Crafting tailored motivational sessions that resonate with children and foster a lifelong passion for reading
  • Interpreting student progress data to refine methods and uncover actionable insights
  • Working alongside the tech team to assess and improve AI literacy tools

What you will NOT be doing

  • Following a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum
  • Working in isolation from technology and innovation
  • Engaging in administrative tasks unrelated to student literacy advancement

Key responsibilities

Drive significant improvements in student reading proficiency through innovative, data-driven, and personalized teaching methods.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
  • Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula
  • Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY
