What you will be doing
- Conducting adaptive reading workshops for 4-7 year olds that build core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating personalized motivational experiences that engage students and foster a lifelong passion for reading
- Reviewing student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and identify actionable insights
- Working alongside the technology team to assess and refine AI literacy platforms
What you will NOT be doing
- Implementing pre-packaged curricula or published scope-and-sequence frameworks

Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
- Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independently of pre-written curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student interactions within them
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Willingness to be on-site at one of our campuses: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Chantilly (Washington), VA
