You'll facilitate brief, high-impact workshops rather than conventional hour-long sessions. Your work involves diagnosing individual student needs, building original evidence-based lessons without templates, and contributing to adaptive technology that extends your expertise to hundreds of learners. What you will be doing

  • Facilitating adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
  • Creating personalized, engaging sessions that resonate with children and foster a lasting enthusiasm for reading
  • Reviewing student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and identify actionable patterns
  • Partnering with the technology team to assess and refine AI-powered literacy platforms

What you will NOT be doing

  • Following pre-packaged curricula or published instructional sequences

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
  • Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-written curricula
  • Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and adept at responding to student engagement patterns within these systems
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements
  • Available to work on-site at one of our locations: Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Chantilly (Washington), VA
