At Alpha School, you will deliver an AI-powered reading program that redefines early literacy instruction. You'll facilitate brief, high-impact workshops instead of conventional hour-long sessions. What you will be doing
- Facilitating adaptive reading workshops for children ages 4-7 that build core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating personalized motivational experiences that resonate with young learners and foster a lasting passion for reading
- Evaluating student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and generate actionable insights
- Partnering with the technology team to assess and refine AI-powered literacy tools
What you will NOT be doing
- Implementing pre-scripted curricula or following published scope-and-sequence programs
Key responsibilities

Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
- Expertise in assessing reading levels, forming student groups, and crafting differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-written curricula
- Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning tools and adjusting instruction based on student behaviors within those systems
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
