As our Virtual Learning Assistant, you'll be the energy catalyst and logistical backbone that powers these transformative experiences. You won't deliver curriculum—you'll deliver the environment where learning thrives. Your expertise in youth engagement will ensure every student feels seen, supported, and primed to excel.

What you will be doing
- Orchestrate seamless virtual workshop experiences by managing breakout rooms, facilitating smooth transitions, and optimizing group dynamics
- Drive student engagement through strategic interventions, personalized encouragement, and creating moments of connection in the digital environment
- Maintain the perfect balance of energy and focus that keeps students confident, motivated, and actively participating
- Execute critical behind-the-scenes logistics that allow lead educators to concentrate on delivering exceptional content
- Establish yourself as a trusted mentor and culture champion within student clubs and life skill development tracks
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering academic content or subject matter instruction
- Creating curriculum materials or evaluating student performance
- Leading workshops independently without educator guidance
- Observing passively—this role demands constant engagement and proactive support
Key responsibilities
Candidate requirements
- Commitment to work 8am - 5pm M-F US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth programs
- Educational background in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have attended school in one of these countries (your current location can be anywhere globally)
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated proficiency across digital platforms
- Ability to project an energizing, student-focused presence while maintaining meticulous attention to logistical details and transitions
Nice to have
- Experience with online learning platforms or virtual youth engagement programs
- Background in after-school initiatives, summer camps, or leadership of youth clubs/organizations
