Description

Elite Youth Facilitator: Transform Virtual Learning Without Teaching a Single Lesson

Unbound Academy is revolutionizing education through our fully virtual, tuition-free charter school. We've replaced traditional worksheets with immersive learning experiences and prioritized personal growth over standardized metrics. Our students master academics efficiently using AI-powered tools in just two focused hours daily, then spend the remainder of their time developing crucial life skills through engaging workshops.

Your mission is critical: maintain peak engagement and flawless execution. You'll guide students through their digital journey, elevate small group dynamics, and provide targeted motivation during challenging moments. While you won't deliver academic content, your presence will be the catalyst that transforms each session from functional to exceptional.

If you've demonstrated excellence in youth leadership—whether in camps, athletics, academic support, or youth programs—and are committed to making education personally meaningful and genuinely enjoyable, this role represents your next significant career advancement.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrate seamless virtual workshop experiences by expertly managing breakout rooms, transitions, and collaborative activities
  • Drive student engagement through strategic interventions including personalized chat interactions, public recognition, and targeted individual check-ins
  • Cultivate an environment where students maintain focus, develop confidence, and build meaningful connections throughout their learning journey
  • Execute critical behind-the-scenes logistics that ensure workshop delivery meets our exceptional standards
  • Establish yourself as an influential culture champion and trusted mentor within student clubs and life skill development tracks

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic content or subject matter instruction
  • Developing lesson materials or evaluating student assignments
  • Creating curriculum frameworks or independently facilitating workshops
  • Observing passively—this position demands continuous active participation and high-energy engagement

Key responsibilities

Elevate virtual learning experiences by ensuring students maintain optimal engagement, organizational clarity, and sustained energy throughout every workshop session.

Candidate requirements

  • Commitment to US Mountain Time (UTC-7) schedule, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated excellence in youth mentorship, coaching, tutoring, or leadership roles
  • Direct educational experience within US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16)—must have been educated in one of these countries (current global location acceptable)
  • Exceptional communication capabilities and advanced proficiency with digital learning environments
  • Demonstrated ability to project an energizing, student-centered presence while maintaining meticulous attention to operational details and transitions

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with digital learning platforms or youth enrichment program facilitation
  • Established track record in after-school programming, summer camp leadership, or student club management
