K-12 Learning Coach   $100,000 USD/year

Description

  • On-campus position in Dripping Springs (Austin metro), TX
  • $100,000 annual salary, distributed weekly. Health, dental, and vision coverage begins day one
  • Relocating for this role? Support is available

Waypoint Academy is redefining K-12 education by blending outdoor adventure with AI-driven academics and life-skills development. Instead of traditional classroom instruction, students develop public speaking skills on hiking trails, cultivate leadership through collaborative challenges, and progress academically at twice the typical pace using adaptive learning platforms.

Your role goes beyond conventional teaching—you'll coach students in grades K-12 to unlock their capabilities through experiential outdoor sessions and focused goal-setting conversations. You'll facilitate nature-immersed activities that cultivate tangible competencies (concentration, communication, collaboration), not deliver standard lessons. Top performers who believe education needs fundamental reinvention excel in this environment. You'll witness measurable, immediate transformation as students shift from disengaged to self-assured achievers.

Dripping Springs provides stunning Texas Hill Country surroundings just 30 minutes from Austin's thriving tech sector, renowned music venues, and culinary landscape. Expect 300+ days of sunshine annually, access to Barton Springs, and year-round outdoor recreation.
