Enrollment Manager   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

At Alpha, you won't simply discuss transforming lives through education—you'll execute it. This position represents the intersection of expansion and stewardship: the individual who persuades families to enroll at our school and guarantees that their children experience a secure, efficiently managed environment once they arrive.

This role differs from typical school positions by combining enrollment responsibility with direct campus operations oversight. You'll serve as the trusted advisor families rely on throughout their decision-making journey, while also providing the consistent leadership that maintains daily safety and facility standards so educators can concentrate on producing outstanding learning results.

Alpha is a rapidly expanding school where ambition aligns with discipline. Families enroll because they trust our three core commitments—and they remain because every element of their experience, from the initial campus visit to the morning arrival routine, builds confidence. If you find energy in the prospect of advancing both institutional growth and operational quality in a meaningful, mission-focused setting, this position offers that opportunity.

What you will be doing

  • Leading customized campus visits that convert families by highlighting Alpha's distinctive commitments.
  • Cultivating relationships with prospective families throughout the enrollment pipeline using attentive, deliberate, and consistent outreach.
  • Maintaining daily adherence to all child protection standards and identifying potential vulnerabilities before they escalate.
  • Overseeing facility operations with a proactive mindset, liaising with service providers, and securing timely, budget-conscious maintenance solutions.
  • Monitoring metrics across enrollment and operations functions to improve strategies and produce quantifiable outcomes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or designing academic programs—your mandate is operational quality, not pedagogy.
  • Following inflexible systems or awaiting direction from others—this position demands proactive accountability.
  • Conducting standardized, impersonal tours or sending templated correspondence.
  • Working in isolation—partnership with staff, families, and external vendors is essential.

Key responsibilities

Achieve growth in student enrollment while sustaining a secure, regulation-compliant, and efficiently functioning campus that enables guides to dedicate their full attention to producing educational results.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Proven background in enrollment, admissions, or a client-facing capacity working with families or students.
  • Superior written and spoken communication abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence and the capacity to establish rapport rapidly.
  • Proficiency with data monitoring and interpretation.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous professional with robust initiative.
  • Availability to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Authorization to work legally in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
