Admissions Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

At Alpha, you won't simply discuss transforming lives through education—you'll deliver it. This position serves as the frontline of expansion and safeguarding: the individual who persuades families to enroll at our school and guarantees that once enrolled, their children thrive in a secure, efficiently managed environment.

This role differs from typical school positions by combining admissions responsibility with direct campus operations. You'll serve as the trusted voice families rely on throughout their enrollment decision, and the consistent presence that maintains daily safety and facilities so instructors can concentrate on producing outstanding educational results.

Alpha is a rapidly expanding school where drive meets discipline. Families enroll because they trust our three core commitments—and they remain because every element of the experience, from the initial admissions visit to the morning arrival routine, builds confidence. If you're motivated by the prospect of advancing both enrollment and operational quality in a high-stakes, purpose-driven setting, this role will suit you well.

What you will be doing

  • Leading tailored campus visits that earn family commitment by demonstrating Alpha's distinctive commitments.
  • Cultivating prospective families throughout the enrollment pipeline with timely, considerate, and determined outreach.
  • Maintaining daily adherence to all safeguarding standards and proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities.
  • Overseeing facilities with a prevention-first mindset, scheduling vendors, and ensuring economical, timely maintenance.
  • Monitoring metrics across admissions and operations to improve strategies and produce quantifiable outcomes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or designing coursework—your priority is operational quality, not pedagogy.
  • Following inflexible procedures or waiting for others to step in—this position demands proactive responsibility.
  • Conducting standardized, rehearsed tours or templated correspondence.
  • Working in isolation—partnership with staff, families, and vendors is essential.

Key responsibilities

Generate increased student admissions while upholding a secure, compliant, and efficiently operated campus that enables the guides to dedicate themselves entirely to achieving educational results.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Proven background in admissions, enrollment, or a family-facing role involving families or students.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly.
  • Comfort with data tracking and analysis.
  • Independent, self-directed worker with strong initiative.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
