Admissions Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

At Alpha, you won't simply discuss transforming lives through education—you'll be the one making it real. This position stands at the intersection of enrollment growth and operational oversight: you are the individual who persuades families to choose our school and then ensures their children experience a secure, well-managed environment once they arrive.

Unlike typical school roles, this job merges admissions responsibility with direct campus management. You will serve as the trusted voice during the family decision journey and the dependable presence maintaining daily safety and facility standards so educators can concentrate on outstanding academic results.

Alpha is a rapidly expanding school where ambition is paired with discipline. Families enroll because of our three core commitments—and remain because every touchpoint, from the initial campus visit to the morning arrival routine, builds confidence. If the prospect of fueling both expansion and operational quality in a high-stakes, purpose-driven setting energizes you, this role offers that opportunity.

What you will be doing

  • Leading tailored campus visits that persuade families by demonstrating Alpha's distinctive commitments.
  • Cultivating prospective families throughout the enrollment process with timely, considerate, and consistent outreach.
  • Maintaining daily adherence to all safeguarding standards and anticipating potential safety concerns.
  • Overseeing facility operations with a proactive mindset, liaising with vendors, and securing cost-efficient, timely maintenance.
  • Monitoring metrics related to enrollment and operations to improve strategies and produce quantifiable outcomes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or designing lesson plans—your emphasis is on operational quality, not academic content.
  • Following inflexible procedures or deferring to others before acting—this role demands proactive responsibility.
  • Conducting standardized, impersonal tours or sending templated correspondence.
  • Working in isolation—partnership with staff, families, and external partners is essential.

Key responsibilities

Drive growth in student enrollment while sustaining a secure, compliant, and efficiently managed campus that enables guides to concentrate exclusively on achieving educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Proven track record in admissions, enrollment, or a client-facing capacity involving families or students.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence and capacity to establish trust swiftly.
  • Proficiency with data tracking and analytical tasks.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous professional with strong initiative.
  • Availability to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
