Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based at our Chantilly, VA campus. 

At Alpha, you won't simply discuss transforming lives through education—you'll execute it. This position serves as the frontline of expansion and stewardship: the individual who persuades families to enroll at our school and guarantees that once enrolled, their children experience learning in a secure, well-managed setting.

This role differs from typical school positions by combining admissions leadership with direct campus operations oversight. You'll serve as the trusted voice families hear throughout their decision journey, and the reliable presence maintaining daily safety and facility standards so educators can concentrate on producing outstanding learning results.

What you will be doing

  • Leading customized campus tours that convert families by demonstrating Alpha's distinctive commitments.
  • Shepherding prospective families through the enrollment pipeline with attentive, considerate, and consistent outreach.
  • Guaranteeing daily adherence to all child protection protocols and proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities.
  • Overseeing facilities through a preventive lens, liaising with vendors, and securing cost-efficient, timely maintenance.
  • Monitoring metrics across enrollment and operations to optimize strategies and produce quantifiable outcomes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching or designing curriculum—your emphasis is on operational quality, not instruction.
  • Following rigid procedures or waiting for others to initiate—this position demands proactive ownership.
  • Conducting generic, scripted tours or sending template-based emails.
  • Working in isolation—partnership with staff, parents, and vendors is fundamental.

Key responsibilities

Increase student enrollment numbers while sustaining a secure, compliant, and efficiently operated campus that enables guides to concentrate exclusively on achieving educational results.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Demonstrated experience in admissions, enrollment, or a customer-facing role with families or students.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly.
  • Comfort with data tracking and analysis.
  • Independent, self-directed worker with strong initiative.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
