Admissions and Enrollment Manager   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

At Alpha, you won't simply discuss transforming lives through education—you'll execute it. This position represents the frontline of expansion and stewardship: the individual who persuades families to enroll at our school and guarantees that once enrolled, their children experience learning in a secure, efficiently managed environment.

Unlike typical school-based roles, this position combines admissions accountability with operational campus management. You'll serve as the trusted voice families rely on throughout their enrollment decision, and the reliable presence that maintains daily safety protocols and facility standards so educators can concentrate on producing outstanding academic results.

Alpha is a rapidly expanding school where drive meets discipline. Families enroll because they embrace our three core commitments—and they remain because every element of their experience, from the initial campus visit to the morning arrival routine, builds confidence. If you're motivated by the prospect of advancing both enrollment and operational quality in a high-stakes, purpose-driven setting, you'll flourish here.

What you will be doing

  • Leading tailored campus visits that convert prospective families by demonstrating Alpha's distinctive commitments.
  • Cultivating relationships with prospective families throughout the enrollment pipeline using attentive, considerate, and consistent outreach.
  • Maintaining daily adherence to all child protection standards and proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities.
  • Overseeing facility operations with a preventative mindset, liaising with vendors, and securing cost-efficient, timely maintenance.
  • Monitoring metrics across enrollment and operations to optimize strategies and produce quantifiable outcomes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or designing curriculum—your concentration is operational quality, not pedagogy.
  • Following inflexible procedures or relying on others to initiate action—this position demands proactive accountability.
  • Conducting impersonal, rehearsed tours or templated correspondence.
  • Working in isolation—partnership with staff, families, and service providers is fundamental.

Key responsibilities

Drive growth in student enrollment while upholding a secure, regulation-compliant, and efficiently operated campus that enables the guides to concentrate exclusively on achieving educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Proven background in admissions, enrollment, or a family-facing role involving students or parents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly.
  • Comfort with data tracking and analysis.
  • Independent, self-directed worker with strong initiative.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
