Enrollment Specialist   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based at our Chantilly, VA campus.

At Alpha, you won't simply discuss transforming lives through education—you'll actively deliver it. This position serves as the primary driver of enrollment growth and operational safeguarding: the individual who persuades families to choose our school and guarantees that once enrolled, their children experience a secure, efficiently managed environment.

This role diverges from typical school positions by combining admissions accountability with direct campus operations oversight. You'll serve as the trusted voice guiding families through their enrollment decision, while also providing the reliable support that maintains daily safety and facility standards so educators can concentrate on achieving outstanding learning results.

Alpha is a rapidly expanding school where high expectations align with operational discipline. Families choose us because of our three core commitments—and they remain because every touchpoint, from the initial campus visit to the morning arrival routine, builds confidence. If you're motivated by the prospect of advancing both organizational growth and institutional quality in a meaningful, purpose-driven setting, this position offers that opportunity.

What you will be doing

  • Leading tailored campus visits that persuade families by highlighting Alpha's distinctive commitments.
  • Supporting prospective families throughout the enrollment pipeline with timely, considerate, and consistent outreach.
  • Maintaining daily adherence to all safety and safeguarding standards while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Overseeing facility maintenance through a preventative lens, liaising with vendors, and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and within budget.
  • Monitoring performance data for both admissions and operations to optimize tactics and produce quantifiable outcomes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or designing curriculum—your emphasis is on operational performance, not instructional design.
  • Following inflexible procedures or deferring to others for decision-making—this role demands proactive accountability.
  • Conducting standardized, impersonal tours or sending templated correspondence.
  • Working independently in isolation—cross-functional collaboration with staff, families, and external partners is essential.

Key responsibilities

Drive growth in student enrollment while upholding a secure, compliant, and efficiently operated campus that enables guides to dedicate their full attention to achieving educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Proven experience in enrollment, admissions, or client-facing roles involving families or students.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence with the capacity to establish rapport swiftly.
  • Proficiency with data tracking and analytical tasks.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous professional with robust initiative.
  • Availability to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
