Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA campus. 

You are the individual who ensures everything functions properly. A smoothly operating campus means students experience security, staff maintain concentration, and parents place confidence in the institution. This outcome is not accidental. It results from someone consistently managing hundreds of operational details each day—with precision, immediacy, and thoughtfulness.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated standards for both students and staff. This position exists to guarantee the non-instructional aspects of campus life meet the same quality standards as our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your scope includes community correspondence, campus security, facility and logistical management, and daily technology oversight. At any given moment, you might be organizing a safety exercise, troubleshooting a technology problem, integrating a new team member, or responding to a parent inquiry. Your work extends beyond maintenance—you are building institutional trust.

This is a practical, campus-based position suited for someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed during challenges, and values delivering exceptional service standards. What you will be doing

  • Acting as a key contact for parents, students, and staff members, providing clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Supervising campus security functions, including entry management, health response, emergency exercises, record-keeping, and family notification
  • Directing daily campus functions including attendance tracking, facility management, transportation arrangements, and administrative workflows
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for new personnel to guarantee seamless transition into campus routines
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, functioning as the lead on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic content
  • Mentoring Guides or directing curriculum design
  • Operating in a limited, specialized administrative capacity
  • Remaining stationary with routine, unchanging assignments
  • Transferring issues to others without assuming accountability or finding solutions

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
