Senior Admissions Counselor   $100,000 USD/year

Description

This role is not about promoting an institution. It's about building trust with families as they navigate one of the most consequential decisions they will ever make.

Alpha enables students to complete core academics in just two hours daily through AI-powered platforms, freeing them to develop critical real-world competencies including entrepreneurship, public speaking, and resilience. With 25 new campuses slated to open by the close of 2025, each expansion begins with a single, pivotal interaction: the admissions process. You will lead that process.

This is a high-touch, personalized experience designed for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families — not a transactional funnel or scripted outreach. You will shepherd the entire admissions lifecycle for your assigned families from initial contact through final transition, providing concierge-caliber service throughout. Your work will include inquiry qualification, family guidance during decision-making, and the strategic use of AI tools to eliminate administrative friction so you can prioritize what truly drives outcomes: relationships, conversions, and confidence.

If you seek a position where sophisticated service intersects with rapid execution — and where AI functions as a foundational capability, not industry jargon — submit your application now.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing the complete admissions lifecycle for your portfolio of families with professionalism, empathy, and operational precision.
  • Screening inbound inquiries from high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth parents through strategic questioning, CRM intelligence, and AI-driven analysis.
  • Serving as the central point of contact for all parent correspondence, meeting coordination, and follow-through — ensuring a white-glove experience irrespective of enrollment outcome.
  • Utilizing AI platforms and CRM systems (such as HubSpot) to rank priorities, automate recurring tasks, and minimize administrative overhead.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Following rigid scripts or standardized procedures — this position demands independent judgment, sophistication, and relational intelligence.
  • Navigating bureaucratic delays — you will not be constrained by interdepartmental approvals or dependent on others for forward momentum.
  • Handing off relationship ownership — you remain the trusted advisor from initial inquiry through enrollment handoff.

Key responsibilities

Execute a premium, high-conversion admissions experience that secures family confidence and supports Alpha's national growth strategy.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years in a client-facing capacity with documented conversion metrics (e.g., admissions, luxury sales, philanthropy, executive recruiting).
  • Demonstrated success managing high-stakes or emotionally complex discussions with professionalism and empathy.
  • CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred) and experience shepherding multi-stage processes from lead generation to closure.
  • Proven facility with AI tools, automation frameworks, and priority management.
  • Established ability to maintain flawless attention to detail — including documentation accuracy, follow-up consistency, and CRM discipline.
  • Located in the U.S. or Canada with existing work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Availability to accommodate family schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Alpha's educational model or demonstrable commitment to education innovation.
