Do you believe literacy is every child's right, yet find yourself frustrated by systems that squander their promise?

Alpha School is demonstrating that significant literacy progress doesn't demand traditional 6-hour instructional days. Our 2-Hour Learning framework combines AI-driven adaptive platforms with targeted teaching expertise to produce accelerated reading outcomes. Your role: architect and execute workshops that generate quantifiable improvements in phonics mastery, reading fluency, and comprehension for students in early elementary grades.

This position focuses on results-driven teaching, technology integration, and constructing a literacy framework capable of serving thousands of learners—not administrative paperwork or template lesson plans.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating adaptive reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency capabilities
  • Creating individualized motivational programming through gamified literacy achievement markers
  • Examining student performance metrics to adjust instructional approaches and extract meaningful patterns
  • Partnering with engineering teams to assess and refine AI-powered literacy platforms informed by real classroom outcomes
  • Building scalable, AI-integrated learning materials that support early elementary learners in reaching grade-level reading proficiency

  • Managing behavior or providing supervision — each session centers on defined learning targets with trackable results
  • Operating independently — you engage regularly with the engineers developing the AI tools your students interact with

Guarantee that every K-2 student under your guidance achieves at or above grade-level reading proficiency through AI-enhanced workshops that transform phonics instruction into an engaging, trackable, and enjoyable learning experience
