What you will be doing
- Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on phonics, comprehension, and fluency development
- Creating customized motivational programming using gamified literacy benchmarks
- Reviewing student performance metrics to improve teaching methods and extract meaningful patterns
- Partnering with engineering teams to assess and optimize AI literacy platforms informed by classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-integrated materials that support early elementary learners in reaching grade-level reading competency
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree accompanied by advanced certification in reading instruction (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- 2+ years conducting small-group reading interventions with early elementary students
- Capable of evaluating reading proficiency, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and attentive to student behavioral data
- Legal authorization to work in Puerto Rico without sponsorship
- Prepared to work on-site in Dorado, Puerto Rico
