What you will be doing

  • Leading adaptive reading instruction sessions focused on phonics, comprehension, and fluency development
  • Creating individualized motivational frameworks using gamified literacy benchmarks
  • Reviewing student performance metrics to refine teaching methods and identify practical interventions
  • Partnering with engineering teams to assess and improve AI-driven literacy platforms through classroom feedback
  • Building scalable, technology-enhanced curricula that help early elementary learners reach grade-level reading standards

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading intervention (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent credential)
  • 2+ years of experience conducting small-group reading interventions with early elementary students
  • Competent in evaluating reading proficiency, forming instructional groups, and creating differentiated lessons independent of pre-packaged curricula
  • Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and attuned to student behavioral indicators
  • Authorized to work legally in Puerto Rico without sponsorship requirements
  • Able to work on-site in Dorado, Puerto Rico
