Description

If you're drawn to high-impact technical problem-solving over repetitive ticket management, this role may be for you. It's designed for the engineer who seeks more than configuration tasks—someone who wants to take ownership of education technology that produces measurable outcomes.

Studient has built the Motiventionâ„¢ platform, which combines AI with motivation science to create real-time, personalized mastery pathways for students. Schools using our system see students who are two years behind accelerate their progress 4.6x faster. We support this with an outcomes-based guarantee: districts pay only when students demonstrate measurable growth.

Your role serves as the bridge between our technology and school IT infrastructure. You'll ensure every implementation is reliable, efficient, and executed quickly. You'll diagnose complex technical challenges, communicate requirements clearly, and partner directly with district IT leaders to maintain system integrity. Your contributions enable teachers to focus on instruction and students to succeed—while our platform delivers on its promise.

If you're ready to support something meaningful, read on.

What you will be doing

  • Diagnosing and resolving technical challenges related to school IT environments, SIS integrations, and platform functionality—frequently in real time.
  • Facilitating IT onboarding with district stakeholders to confirm system compatibility, maintain data security, and configure integrations smoothly.
  • Building and sustaining automated workflows across SIS platforms, HubSpot, Google Sheets, APIs, and AWS QuickSight.
  • Partnering with sales, support, and implementation teams to accelerate adoption and shorten time-to-value.
  • Creating documentation, developing reusable templates, and minimizing reliance on ad hoc solutions or individual expertise.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working in isolation on code with no line of sight to real-world impact.
  • Providing teacher training or managing instructional change—your focus is on systems, not pedagogy.
  • Navigating excessive bureaucracy to accomplish objectives—we prioritize clarity, autonomy, and speed.
  • Creating custom integrations from scratch every time—we rely on established playbooks and automation for consistency.
  • Managing ambiguous support tickets—you'll work within structured processes with clear context and priorities.

Key responsibilities

Deliver seamless, scalable MTSS platform implementations that minimize school IT challenges, speed up adoption, and enable measurable student outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and available to travel up to 70% to K–12 school districts
  • Experience working with SIS, Clever, or comparable educational technology platforms
  • Knowledge of FERPA and data privacy standards
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation and reporting tools
