Have you been looking for an opportunity to demonstrate what works rather than simply describe it?

2 Hour Learning doubles the pace at which students learn by implementing a fundamentally different approach. Over six months, you will bring this model to life at a partner institution in Spotswood, NJ—mentoring students while concurrently training teaching staff to execute the program with precision. There are no isolated planning sessions. No abstract presentations. You will model excellence directly with students as staff members observe and absorb the practice.

This position suits professionals within commuting range or those seeking a high-stakes temporary engagement with concrete deliverables and a fixed timeline. If you find fulfillment in witnessing transformation across both student and adult populations, this six-month contract enables you to produce quantifiable results on dual tracks.

Demonstrate mastery. Develop the team. Submit your application.

What you will be doing

  • Observing teachers and support staff at the partner school, demonstrating 2 Hour Learning protocols, and providing coaching through structured one-on-one or small-group formats
  • Working directly with students in small groups or individually: tracking their progress within learning applications, cultivating goal-setting capabilities, and modeling effective methods for the broader staff
  • Facilitating life skills workshops that actively involve students and illustrate exemplary facilitation practices for staff observers
  • Leveraging student performance data to refine mentorship tactics and confirm that academic benchmarks are achieved
  • Conducting debrief sessions with staff following observations and workshops to solidify best practices and address questions

Candidate requirements

  • Authorized to work legally in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Available to work on-site at the Spotswood, NJ campus through June 2026 (temporary relocation is acceptable)
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in education, coaching, or a related field involving youth or adults
  • At least 1 year of experience training or coaching adults (teachers, staff, coaches) with proven modeling and feedback capabilities
  • Hands-on experience working with children aged 5-14 in educational or youth development contexts
