At Alpha, you will build the world's most rigorous and joyful early learning program. You will guide educators to implement play-based instruction that produces quantifiable results, refine adaptive curriculum frameworks spanning all readiness areas, and observe four-year-olds achieving developmental milestones at an accelerated pace.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective methods and recognizing documented progress
  • Develop and lead play-based instructional blocks integrating social-emotional learning, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as the exemplar for your team
  • Examine and standardize Guide record-keeping on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clear action steps, running calibration meetings to maintain milestone tracking transparency
  • Create family communications and facilitate team alignment meetings that unify focus and reinforce collective commitment to campus PreK readiness objectives

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field; Master's degree or specialized certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, early years development, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with young children ages 3 to 5 in group settings
  • Documented success designing and executing play-based curricula or programs that drive developmental milestone achievement, such as Montessori approaches
  • At least 1 year of experience in coaching or supervising educator teams with accountability for performance outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for effective family reporting and team coordination
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship
  • Commitment to in-person work at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support offered as needed
