What you will be doing
- Facilitate one-on-one and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective techniques and recognizing measurable progress
- Create and lead play-based learning sessions that integrate SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as a model of excellence for the team
- Evaluate and calibrate Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric alignment and clarity, conducting calibration meetings to maintain visibility of milestone achievement
- Draft family communications and conduct team huddles to align focus and uphold shared standards in support of campus-wide PreK readiness objectives
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or specialized certification preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related area
- Demonstrated experience working with groups of children between the ages of 3 and 5
- Documented success in designing and executing play-based educational programs or curricula that support developmental milestone attainment, such as Montessori
- A minimum of 1 year coaching or managing educator teams with clear performance expectations
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for effective family engagement and team coordination
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
- Ability to work onsite at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support offered as needed
