NOTE: This hybrid position requires in-person presence in Austin, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, or NYC.

In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, approachability, and excellence. You will manage daily correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and keep precise applicant data that supports sound decision-making.

If you excel in dynamic, purpose-driven settings—where responsiveness, structure, and accuracy directly influence family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid opportunity combines remote flexibility with consistent in-person participation at admissions activities.

What you will be doing

Manage and oversee the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional correspondence with prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with meticulous attention to accuracy

Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, on campus and virtually

Work closely with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day visits

Maintain admissions platforms, records, and follow-up tasks with current and precise information

What you will NOT be doing

  • Create admissions strategy or render final admissions decisions
  • Function in a strictly administrative role without direct family engagement
  • Work within a slow-moving, heavily bureaucratic structure
  • Concentrate solely on relationship development without robust execution and follow-through

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that a frictionless, high-conversion admissions process strengthens enrollment outcomes and family satisfaction across Alpha's campus locations.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience in education, teaching, admissions, enrollment management, or a closely related area
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience in admissions, enrollment, events, or similar functions
  • Solid administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and detail-focused
  • High level of attention to detail and proven ability to maintain accurate applicant records or CRM information
  • Comfortable managing remote responsibilities alongside in-person campus duties
  • Able to adjust rapidly and succeed in a fast-moving, mission-centered environment
  • Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in Austin; TX, San Francisco; CA, Santa Barbara; CA or NYC; NY
