Your role will guide each family's experience from initial outreach through final enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, care, and excellence. You will manage daily correspondence, organize impactful admissions experiences, and sustain precise applicant tracking that supports informed decision-making.

If you excel in dynamic, purpose-driven settings—where attentiveness, structure, and accuracy have direct influence on family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role provides both remote flexibility and consistent in-person participation at admissions gatherings.

What you will be doing

Manage and own the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional responses to prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with rigorous attention to accuracy

Take part in all admissions activities, including information sessions, shadow visits, and community gatherings, conducted on campus and online

Work closely with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day schedules

Maintain admissions platforms, documentation, and outreach with precision and currency

What you will NOT be doing

  • Formulate admissions policy or render final enrollment decisions
  • Function in an exclusively back-office capacity with no direct family contact
  • Navigate a sluggish, overly procedural setting
  • Prioritize relationship development without rigorous operational follow-through

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that a frictionless, high-conversion admissions process produces robust enrollment outcomes and family confidence across Alpha's locations.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and precise
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated experience keeping applicant records or CRM data accurate
  • Comfortable managing both remote responsibilities and in-person campus duties
  • Capable of adapting swiftly and excelling in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment
  • Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in NYC; NY-based or willing to relocate

Nice to have

  • Experience in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • History of coordinating admissions events or high-touch onboarding workflows
  • Ease working in rapidly evolving, technology-driven environments
