Campus Services Manager   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This position requires full-time, on-site presence at one of our campus locations.

A well-managed campus operates invisibly. A poorly managed one disrupts everything. This position ensures that Alpha campuses function with reliability, safety, and precision—day in and day out.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational frameworks. Our learning environments are fast-paced. Our expectations are exacting. That demands campus operations that are structured, agile, and designed to scale. This role is accountable for all non-instructional functions that enable students and Guides to deliver their best work.

You will serve as the operational foundation of the campus. You handle communication with parents and staff, maintain safety and security protocols, ensure smooth facilities and logistics operations, and guarantee that technology functions reliably for all users. You resolve disruptions, identify emerging issues before they grow, and introduce organized systems into fluid environments.

This is not a limited administrative position. It is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity for someone energized by accountability, diverse challenges, and execution. If you seek work where your choices directly influence student safety, staff performance, and parent confidence, this role delivers genuine ownership and responsibility.

What you will be doing

  • Serving as the main contact for parents, students, and staff to provide prompt, clear, and professional correspondence
  • Directing campus safety functions including entry management, medical incidents, emergency drills, record-keeping, and parent notifications
  • Supervising daily campus logistics including attendance systems, transportation arrangements, facility upkeep, and office administration
  • Assisting with the onboarding and preparation of new employees to guarantee operational effectiveness from the start
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, functioning as the on-site Google Administrator and technical point person

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom lessons or providing instructional support
  • Mentoring Guides or influencing curricular design
  • Functioning in a strictly clerical or tightly confined capacity
  • Working within a static or entirely routine setting
  • Escalating unresolved issues to others rather than driving solutions

Key responsibilities

Sustain safe, efficient, and dependable campus operations that continually enhance the experience of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar operational roles
  • Comfort with basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across parents, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be available to work in person in Piedmont, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Lake Forest, CA or Chicago, IL.
