Description

You will serve as the first point of contact for families determining where their child's educational journey will unfold. Each email you compose, event you facilitate, and discussion you guide will play a direct role in whether a family selects Alpha. This position is designed for someone who values accuracy, genuine connection, and consistent execution—and who recognizes that meticulous attention to detail builds credibility.

In this position, you oversee the complete journey for prospective families from initial interest onward. You will address questions promptly and with care, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data impeccable, and help parents understand how Alpha operates and whether it aligns with their goals. You are not simply managing paperwork behind the scenes—you are actively influencing choices.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with precision, warmth, and messaging that reflects Alpha's values
  • Organizing admissions events, campus tours, and student shadow experiences from planning through post-visit follow-up
  • Maintaining applicant data with full accuracy in CRM and admissions platforms
  • Conducting conversations with families to clarify Alpha's approach, respond to concerns, and capture relevant observations
  • Collaborating with campus staff and admissions colleagues to ensure smooth pipeline progression

What you will NOT be doing

  • Determining admissions outcomes or establishing enrollment guidelines
  • Delivering instruction or overseeing academic programming
  • Pursuing families using high-pressure sales methods or predetermined scripts
  • Operating within a slow-paced or ambiguously structured workflow

Key responsibilities

Deliver a frictionless, high-conversion admissions journey that transforms prospective interest into committed enrollment while ensuring families feel informed, valued, and enthusiastic about joining Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workflows
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
