Admissions Associate   $75,000 USD/year

Description

You will represent the first point of contact for families evaluating where to invest in their child's education. The emails you craft, the events you coordinate, and the interactions you facilitate will shape whether families choose Alpha. This position is designed for someone who values accuracy, genuine connection, and consistent execution—someone who knows that careful attention to detail builds confidence and credibility.

Alpha is constructing the world's most forward-thinking school system. Our campuses integrate demanding academic standards, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for learners and educators alike. Admissions transforms that vision into reality. Families require more than information; they seek understanding, assurance, and evidence that Alpha delivers meaningful differentiation.

This role places you in charge of the complete journey for interested families from initial contact onward. You will deliver prompt and considered responses to questions, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, ensure flawless record management, and support parents in understanding Alpha's approach and determining fit. You are not handling paperwork remotely—you are actively influencing enrollment outcomes.

This is a dynamic, campus-based position suited to someone who excels at managing multiple demands without compromising quality. If you are committed to excellence in execution, clear communication, and empowering families to make well-informed choices, you will discover genuine accountability and meaningful impact here. If that resonates with you, we want to connect.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to family inquiries within 24 hours using clear, welcoming, and mission-consistent language
  • Organizing admissions programming, campus tours, and shadow day experiences from planning through post-event communication
  • Maintaining applicant data with full precision across CRM platforms and admissions tools
  • Conducting conversations with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to concerns, and capture important observations
  • Collaborating with campus staff and admissions colleagues to ensure continuous pipeline progress

What you will NOT be doing

  • Determining admissions outcomes or shaping enrollment strategy
  • Delivering instruction or influencing academic content
  • Pursuing families using high-pressure sales methods or rigid scripts
  • Operating within an unstructured or slow-paced procedural framework

Key responsibilities

Deliver a smooth, high-impact admissions journey that converts prospective interest into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel informed, valued, and enthusiastic about becoming part of Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workflows
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
