Admissions Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

You will represent the first point of contact for families making a decision about where their child's educational journey begins. Each email you compose, event you organize, and dialogue you facilitate will play a direct role in whether a family selects Alpha. This position is designed for someone who values precision, genuine connection, and consistent follow-through—and who recognizes that careful attention to detail builds trust.

Alpha is constructing the most ambitious educational model in the world. Our campuses integrate rigorous academic standards, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for students and staff alike. Admissions is the stage where that commitment becomes tangible. Families require more than information; they seek clarity, assurance, and proof that Alpha is exceptional in meaningful ways.

In this position, you will manage the complete journey for prospective families from initial inquiry onward. You will address questions promptly and with care, arrange campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data impeccable, and help parents understand how Alpha operates and whether it aligns with their needs. You are not simply managing paperwork behind the scenes—you are actively influencing enrollment outcomes.

This is a dynamic, campus-based role suited to someone who excels at managing multiple priorities without compromising quality. If you are committed to excellence in execution, clear communication, and supporting families in making well-informed choices, you will discover genuine ownership and meaningful impact in this role. If that resonates with you, we look forward to your application.

What you will be doing

  • Addressing inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours, delivering clear, welcoming, and Alpha-consistent communication
  • Organizing admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences, managing all logistics and subsequent follow-up
  • Maintaining applicant data with full accuracy across CRM platforms and admissions systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to questions, and capture key insights
  • Collaborating with campus and admissions colleagues to ensure pipeline continuity and momentum

What you will NOT be doing

  • Determining admissions outcomes or establishing enrollment policies
  • Delivering instruction or overseeing curriculum development
  • Pursuing families with high-pressure sales methods or scripted pitches
  • Operating within a slow-paced or ambiguously structured process framework

Key responsibilities

Deliver a smooth, high-conversion admissions journey that transforms initial interest into confident enrollment decisions, ensuring families feel informed, valued, and enthusiastic about joining Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workflows
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
