Family Engagement Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You are the person families think of when they choose where to send their child. From initial inquiry through final enrollment, you define how Alpha sounds, feels, and fulfills its commitments. This position is designed for someone who understands that speed, precision, and genuine care are not competing priorities—they form the baseline.

Alpha is transforming the concept of school. Our campuses unite academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a coherent philosophy that honors both students and their families. Admissions is where this philosophy becomes tangible. Families arrive curious, uncertain, and optimistic. Your responsibility is to turn doubt into trust.

In this position, you own the admissions journey after a family expresses interest. You will answer family questions promptly and with professionalism, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data accurate and current, and facilitate meaningful discussions that clarify Alpha's approach and help parents determine fit. This is not a support role. You are visible, meticulous, and responsible for shaping how families perceive Alpha.

This is an active, campus-based position suited to someone who thrives managing competing demands without sacrificing accuracy or empathy. If you value excellence in execution, communication, and designing experiences that feel effortless to others, this role provides genuine ownership and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Answering inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, warm, and consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing and delivering admissions events, campus visits, and shadow day experiences for students
  • Keeping applicant information current and precise across CRM platforms and admissions databases
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's model, respond to concerns, and capture their input
  • Collaborating closely with campus staff and admissions leadership to ensure continuous progress for every family

What you will NOT be doing

  • Determining final admissions outcomes or enrollment approvals
  • Delivering classroom instruction or assisting with daily teaching activities
  • Relying on aggressive sales methods or prescriptive conversation scripts
  • Operating in a setting where expectations, standards, or direction are ambiguous

Key responsibilities

Create and maintain a high-trust, high-conversion admissions process that takes families from initial interest to assured enrollment.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or parent-facing programs
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
