Admissions Associate   $75,000 USD/year

Description

You are the individual families will recall when choosing where to enroll their children. You influence how Alpha is perceived, communicated, and experienced from initial inquiry through final commitment. This position is designed for someone who understands that responsiveness, precision, and genuine care are not competing priorities—they define excellence.

Alpha is transforming the landscape of education. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a foundational philosophy that honors students and their families alike. Admissions serves as the bridge between that philosophy and lived experience. Families approach us with curiosity, questions, and hope. Your responsibility is to turn ambiguity into clarity and confidence.

In this capacity, you oversee the admissions journey after initial interest has been indicated. You will answer family questions promptly and with professionalism, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, ensure flawless accuracy in applicant documentation, and facilitate meaningful discussions that allow parents to evaluate whether Alpha aligns with their child's needs. This is a highly visible role. You will be client-facing, process-oriented, and directly responsible for shaping how families perceive Alpha.

This is an on-site, dynamic position suited to someone who thrives when managing competing demands while maintaining both rigor and warmth. If you value operational excellence, clear communication, and delivering experiences that feel effortless to those you serve, this role provides genuine autonomy and measurable influence.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing and executing admissions activities, including campus tours and shadow day experiences for students
  • Ensuring applicant records remain accurate and current in admissions platforms and CRM systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to concerns, and capture their input
  • Collaborating closely with campus staff and admissions colleagues to ensure continuous progress for every prospective family

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making final decisions regarding admissions or student enrollment
  • Delivering classroom instruction or assisting with day-to-day teaching activities
  • Relying on aggressive sales methods or scripted interactions
  • Operating in a setting where expectations, benchmarks, or responsibilities are ambiguous

Key responsibilities

Create and sustain a trustworthy, high-performing admissions process that supports families from their earliest engagement to confident enrollment decisions.

  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Prior involvement in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience coordinating admissions events or family engagement programs
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, technology-driven settings
