Admissions Associate   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You are the person families remember when they choose where to enroll their child. From initial inquiry through final enrollment decision, you define how Alpha feels, communicates, and fulfills its commitments. This position is designed for someone who understands that responsiveness, precision, and genuine care are not competing priorities—they define excellence.

Alpha is transforming what school can be. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-enhanced instruction, and a coherent philosophy that honors both students and their families. Admissions is where that philosophy becomes tangible. Families arrive curious, uncertain, and hopeful. Your responsibility is to turn ambiguity into clarity and confidence.

In this position, you oversee the admissions journey after families express interest. You will address inquiries promptly and with professionalism, arrange campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data accurate and current, and facilitate meaningful discussions that help parents evaluate whether Alpha's model suits their child. This is not a support role hidden from view. You are visible, detail-oriented, and directly responsible for the family experience at Alpha.

This is an on-campus, high-velocity role for someone who thrives when managing competing demands without sacrificing attention to detail or personal connection. If you value flawless execution, strong communication, and building experiences that feel effortless to those you serve, this role delivers meaningful ownership and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing and delivering admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences for students
  • Keeping applicant records precise and current across admissions platforms and CRM systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to questions, and capture their feedback
  • Collaborating closely with campus staff and admissions colleagues to ensure continuous progress for every family

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making final enrollment or acceptance decisions
  • Delivering classroom instruction or supporting day-to-day teaching activities
  • Relying on aggressive sales methods or inflexible scripts
  • Operating in a setting where expectations, standards, or priorities remain ambiguous

Key responsibilities

Create a high-trust, high-conversion admissions journey that supports families from initial outreach through confident enrollment commitment.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or parent-facing programs
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
