Admissions Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You are the individual families recall when choosing where to enroll their child. From initial inquiry through final enrollment, you define how Alpha feels, communicates, and fulfills its commitments. This position is designed for someone who understands that speed, precision, and genuine care are not competing priorities—they represent the baseline expectation.

Alpha is transforming the concept of schooling. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a coherent philosophy that honors students and families alike. Admissions is the point where philosophy becomes practice. Families approach us with curiosity, doubt, and optimism. Your responsibility is to convert uncertainty into trust.

Within this role, you oversee the admissions journey after interest has been signaled. You will answer family questions promptly and with professionalism, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, ensure applicant records remain impeccable, and facilitate meaningful discussions that clarify Alpha's approach and help parents determine fit for their child. This is not a support-only function. You are client-facing, process-oriented, and responsible for shaping how families perceive Alpha.

This is an on-site, dynamic position suited to someone who thrives while managing competing demands without sacrificing accuracy or personal connection. If you value operational excellence, clear communication, and building experiences that feel effortless to those you serve, this role provides genuine ownership and measurable influence.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's values
  • Designing and delivering admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences for students
  • Keeping applicant records precise and current across all admissions platforms and CRM systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to concerns, and capture their input
  • Collaborating closely with campus staff and admissions leadership to ensure continuous progress for every family

What you will NOT be doing

  • Determining final admissions outcomes or enrollment approvals
  • Participating in classroom instruction or day-to-day academic support
  • Relying on aggressive sales methods or predetermined conversation scripts
  • Operating in a setting where expectations, priorities, or quality standards are ambiguous

Key responsibilities

Create a high-trust, high-conversion admissions process that supports families from initial outreach through confident enrollment decisions.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or parent-facing programs
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
