Admissions Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

You are the individual families will recall when choosing where to enroll their child. From initial inquiry through final enrollment, you define how Alpha is perceived, communicated, and experienced. This position is designed for someone who understands that responsiveness, precision, and genuine care are not competing priorities—they are the baseline.

Alpha is transforming the concept of schooling. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a coherent educational philosophy that honors students and their families alike. Admissions is where that philosophy becomes tangible. Families approach us with curiosity, doubt, and hope. Your responsibility is to turn uncertainty into trust.

In this position, you oversee the admissions journey after a family expresses interest. You will address family questions promptly and professionally, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data accurate and current, and facilitate meaningful discussions that clarify Alpha's approach and help parents evaluate fit for their child. This is not a support role conducted in the background. You are client-facing, process-oriented, and responsible for the quality of every family's Alpha experience.

This is an on-campus, high-velocity role suited to someone who thrives when managing competing demands without sacrificing precision or personal connection. If you value operational excellence, clear communication, and designing experiences that feel effortless to those you serve, this role provides genuine ownership and measurable influence.

What you will be doing

  • Addressing inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing and delivering admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences for students
  • Ensuring applicant records remain precise and current across admissions platforms and CRM systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to concerns, and record insights
  • Collaborating closely with campus staff and admissions leadership to advance each family through the enrollment process

What you will NOT be doing

  • Rendering final decisions on admissions or enrollment
  • Delivering classroom instruction or assisting with day-to-day teaching responsibilities
  • Relying on aggressive sales methods or formulaic scripts
  • Operating in a setting where expectations, standards, or direction are ambiguous

Key responsibilities

Create a credible, high-performing admissions process that moves families from initial contact to assured enrollment.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or parent-facing programs
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
