Description

You will serve as the first point of contact for families determining where their child's education will unfold. The emails you craft, the events you orchestrate, and the conversations you facilitate will directly shape whether a family selects Alpha. This position is designed for someone who values precision, genuine connection, and consistent execution—someone who recognizes that thoughtful attention to detail builds trust.

In this position, you will manage the complete journey for prospective families from initial inquiry onward. You will deliver prompt and considerate responses to questions, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data immaculate, and help parents understand how Alpha operates and whether it aligns with their needs. You are not handling paperwork behind the scenes—you are actively influencing enrollment decisions.

This is an on-campus, high-tempo role suited to someone who excels at managing competing demands without losing focus. What you will be doing

  • Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours using clear, warm, and brand-consistent language
  • Organizing admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences, including all logistics and post-event communication
  • Maintaining applicant data with full precision across CRM platforms and admissions software
  • Conducting family meetings to describe Alpha's educational approach, respond to questions, and capture key observations
  • Collaborating with campus staff and admissions colleagues to ensure seamless pipeline progression

What you will NOT be doing

  • Determining admissions outcomes or establishing enrollment policies
  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programming
  • Employing hard-sell methods or scripted sales approaches with families
  • Operating within ambiguous or inconsistently structured processes

Key responsibilities

Deliver a streamlined, high-quality admissions journey that converts prospective interest into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about joining Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workflows
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
