Enrollment Specialist   $75,000 USD/year

Description

You will serve as the initial point of contact for families making one of their most important decisions: where their child will learn and grow. Each inquiry you handle, event you organize, and interaction you facilitate will shape whether a family ultimately selects Alpha. This position is designed for someone who values accuracy, genuine connection, and consistent execution—and who recognizes that excellence in the details builds lasting trust.

Alpha is constructing the world's most forward-thinking school model. Our locations integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated standards for students and staff alike. Admissions transforms that vision into reality. Families require more than information; they seek transparency, assurance, and evidence that Alpha stands apart in meaningful ways.

In this capacity, you will manage the complete journey for interested families from initial contact forward. You will address questions promptly and with care, schedule campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data flawless, and help parents understand how Alpha operates and whether it aligns with their needs. You are not simply handling paperwork behind the scenes—you are influencing family choices directly.

This is a dynamic, campus-based position for someone who excels at managing competing demands without compromising quality. If you are motivated by precision, clear communication, and empowering families to make well-informed choices, you will find meaningful responsibility and influence in this role. If this resonates with you, we encourage you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Addressing inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours using clear, welcoming, and on-brand communication
  • Organizing admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences from planning through post-event engagement
  • Maintaining applicant data with full precision in CRM and admissions platforms
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's approach, respond to concerns, and capture key details
  • Collaborating with campus staff and admissions colleagues to ensure seamless pipeline progression

What you will NOT be doing

  • Determining admissions outcomes or establishing enrollment guidelines
  • Delivering instruction or overseeing academic programming
  • Pursuing families with high-pressure sales language or rigid scripts
  • Operating within ambiguous, unstructured processes

Key responsibilities

Build a polished, high-converting admissions journey that transforms prospective interest into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about becoming part of Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workflows
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
