Enrollment Specialist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You are the voice families hear first and the presence they remember when choosing where to enroll. You guide every step from initial inquiry through final commitment, shaping how Alpha is experienced, understood, and trusted. This position is designed for someone who refuses to compromise between responsiveness, precision, and genuine care—these are the baseline.

Alpha is reimagining what education looks like. Our campuses integrate rigorous academics, technology-driven instruction, and a coherent philosophy that honors students and their families. Admissions is where philosophy becomes practice. Families arrive curious, uncertain, and optimistic. Your role is to turn doubt into certainty.

In this position, you own the admissions journey after a family expresses interest. You respond to inquiries with speed and professionalism, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant files flawless, and facilitate meaningful conversations that clarify Alpha's approach and help parents determine fit. This is not a background role. You are visible, meticulous, and responsible for how families perceive Alpha.

This is an on-campus, fast-moving role suited to someone who thrives managing parallel demands without sacrificing accuracy or connection. If you value excellence in execution, communication, and creating experiences that feel effortless to families, this position delivers genuine ownership and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Answering inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's voice
  • Designing and delivering admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences for students
  • Ensuring applicant records remain precise and current across CRM platforms and admissions systems
  • Conducting family meetings to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to concerns, and capture insights
  • Collaborating with campus and admissions leadership to advance each family through the enrollment pipeline

What you will NOT be doing

  • Rendering final decisions on admissions or enrollment eligibility
  • Delivering classroom instruction or participating in day-to-day teaching
  • Relying on aggressive sales techniques or inflexible messaging
  • Operating in a setting where expectations, standards, or direction are ambiguous

Key responsibilities

Create a trustworthy, effective admissions experience that moves families confidently from initial interest to completed enrollment.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or parent-facing programs
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
