Description

You are not here to deliver lessons. You are here to architect experiences that make adults stop and ask, "A kid accomplished that?" If you've felt constrained by rigid curriculums, bureaucratic approval chains, or diluted expectations, this is your opportunity to start fresh. You will create bold, real-world Life Skills experiences where meaningful challenge is central, and observable progress is the measure.

Alpha Anywhere is a remote program designed to help students ages 8–14 develop life skills through live workshops and authentic challenges—not through lectures and worksheets. This role exists to transform a founder-operated pilot into a scalable, faculty-led program that can grow. You will design, facilitate, and refine the complete cycle. You will launch workshops, develop independent challenges, manage feedback loops, and produce showcases that students take pride in presenting.

This is not a predictable, micromanaged position. You will be empowered to solve problems, elevate standards, and capture what succeeds so others can build on it. If you excel with creative freedom, project strong on-camera presence, and trust that kids can rise to difficult tasks, you will produce the most impactful work of your career here.

If you want your contributions evaluated by genuine transformation, not compliance tasks, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Lead live, student-centered workshops where kids drive the conversation and action, and you respond dynamically in the moment
  • Create independent, standalone challenges with explicit mastery standards and concrete outputs students can finish without intensive 1:1 guidance
  • Provide rapid, targeted feedback that answers "what's my next step?" and produces measurable progress at scale
  • Refine workshops based on evidence (results, observations, recordings, input) and record changes so the program improves continuously
  • Organize showcases where students share their work with families and display visible growth and self-assurance

What you will NOT be doing

  • Implement a pre-packaged curriculum or deliver instruction from scripts authored by others
  • Dedicate your time to grading, test preparation, or compliance-focused "check the box" assignments
  • Navigate multiple approval layers before testing an idea, launching an experiment, or releasing an update
  • Depend on physical presence to generate energy; you will build rapport and drive momentum through a screen

Key responsibilities

This role exists so Alpha Anywhere can scale a faculty-led Life Skills program that reliably delivers "impossible" student outcomes and enables significant enrollment expansion without founder-led delivery.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience having designed and delivered at least one experience end-to-end (program, game, camp, training, performance, or similar)
  • Experience working directly with students ages 8–14 in any capacity
  • Strong virtual presence with clear communication and the ability to build connection on camera
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week with 70%+ of your time available between 8am–8pm CT, Monday–Friday
  • Reliable internet and a professional, stable setup for virtual facilitation
  • Demonstrated ability to build in ambiguity, iterate fast, and hold a high bar without lowering standards when students struggle

Nice to have

  • Background in experiential design (games, theater, youth programs, coaching, or startup-style building)
  • Experience designing objective rubrics, exemplars, or mastery-based assessments
  • Proven habit of documenting and systemizing your work so others can repeat and improve it
