Description

You are not here to follow a script. You are here to create experiences that make adults stop and ask, "How did a kid accomplish that?" If you have felt confined by rigid curriculums, bureaucratic approval chains, or diminished expectations, this is your opportunity to start fresh. You will craft meaningful, authentic Life Skills experiences where intentional challenge is the goal, and observable progress is the measure.

Alpha Anywhere is a remote program that supports students ages 8–14 in developing life skills through live workshops and authentic challenges, not passive lectures and worksheets. This role exists to transform a founder-led pilot into a scalable, faculty-delivered program. You will design, deliver, and refine the entire cycle. You will launch workshops, develop independent challenges, facilitate feedback loops, and coordinate showcases where students present work they are genuinely proud of.

This is not a protected, closely-supervised position. You will be empowered to solve problems, elevate standards, and capture what works so others can build on it. If you flourish with creative freedom, possess compelling on-camera skills, and trust that kids can rise to difficult challenges, you will produce the most meaningful work of your career here.

If you want your impact measured by genuine transformation, not administrative compliance, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Lead live, student-driven workshops where kids do the majority of the talking and doing, and you respond dynamically in the moment
  • Create independent, self-contained challenges with defined mastery standards and concrete deliverables students can complete without intensive 1:1 guidance
  • Provide rapid, actionable feedback that answers "what is my next step?" and produces measurable progress at scale
  • Refine workshops using evidence (results, observations, recordings, participant input) and record changes so the program improves continuously
  • Coordinate showcases where students share their work with families and display tangible growth and self-assurance

What you will NOT be doing

  • Execute a pre-packaged curriculum or deliver lessons from scripts created by others
  • Dedicate your time to grading, test preparation, or compliance-focused "check the box" assignments
  • Navigate multiple approval layers before you can test an idea, conduct an experiment, or launch an iteration
  • Depend on physical presence to generate energy; you will build engagement and drive through a screen

Key responsibilities

This role exists so Alpha Anywhere can scale a faculty-delivered Life Skills program that reliably produces "impossible" student outcomes and enables significant enrollment growth without founder-led delivery.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience having designed and delivered at least one experience end-to-end (program, game, camp, training, performance, or similar)
  • Experience working directly with students ages 8–14 in any capacity
  • Strong virtual presence with clear communication and the ability to build connection on camera
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week with 70%+ of your time available between 8am–8pm CT, Monday–Friday
  • Reliable internet and a professional, stable setup for virtual facilitation
  • Demonstrated ability to build in ambiguity, iterate fast, and hold a high bar without lowering standards when students struggle

Nice to have

  • Background in experiential design (games, theater, youth programs, coaching, or startup-style building)
  • Experience designing objective rubrics, exemplars, or mastery-based assessments
  • Proven habit of documenting and systemizing your work so others can repeat and improve it
