Senior Enrollment Manager   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most enrollment positions focus on maximizing volume. This one is designed to uphold standards.

Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking school frameworks in existence. Our campuses integrate academically rigorous curricula, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and personnel. Students routinely advance faster than national norms, with measurable data to confirm it. Afternoon hours are dedicated to depth, autonomy, and practical competency development. The model is effective. But its success depends entirely on selecting the right families.

That is your mandate.

You will manage the complete enrollment pathway for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and extending through onboarding. This is not a handoff position. You are accountable for the family experience, the clarity with which they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with full alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when warranted. The objective is not volume maximization. The objective is alignment.

We welcome applicants from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private institutions, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurs who have personally directed high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to operate a high-touch, phased process with sound judgment, transparency, and consistent execution.

If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where trust, professionalism, and experience quality are brand-defining, this role will feel natural—just directed toward something that genuinely transforms outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, South Bay. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the entire enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial inquiry through full onboarding.
  • Facilitating diagnostic conversations to evaluate alignment before offering solutions or suggesting further steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements at varying stages of the enrollment cycle, maintaining clear tracking and timely follow-up.
  • Directing campus visits, student shadow days, and decision-stage discussions that communicate results, standards, and model fit with precision.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation in CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and sustained service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Enrolling poorly aligned families to satisfy numerical targets.
  • Overseeing large teams or working through multilayered approval structures.
  • Distributing ownership of the family journey across multiple stakeholders.
  • Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-trust, highly selective enrollment process that attracts well-aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and educational performance of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years delivering premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or owner-operated client services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships across multiple stages, supported by a reliable tracking and prioritization framework.
  • Ability to cite specific instances of consultative decision-making, including occasions when you advised against your own product or service due to misalignment.
  • Professional written communication with senior executives, high-net-worth clients, or discerning stakeholders.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these regions: La Jolla, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Marin County, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; or South Bay, CA.
  • Work authorization in the United States without need for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support capacities.
  • Track record of developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion quality rather than simply speed.
