As a technical product leader at the executive level, you'll be responsible for the architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration across our learning platform. What you will be doing

  • Leveraging profound education product knowledge to inform strategic choices
  • Crafting technical specifications that emphasize simplicity, efficiency, and sustainability
  • Implementing generative AI technologies to automate and optimize engineering processes, aligning with the strategic goal of minimizing manual effort

What you will NOT be doing

  • Focusing solely on people management; your expertise in business and technology will be vital
  • Spending time in meetings, committees, or administrative tasks; we have automated these areas to allow you to concentrate on delivering business value through active engagement
  • Developing strategies without actionable implementation; your insights must be grounded in product-level understanding

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the CTO for one or more educational products, overseeing core capabilities and driving business value through effective execution and strategic decision-making

Candidate requirements

  • Extensive experience and interest in data-driven learning science
  • 7+ years of experience in making crucial architecture and design decisions on software projects, including utilizing architecture design patterns or significant open-source technologies
  • 2+ years of experience in making design decisions involving cloud computing services (mainly AWS)
  • 4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery ownership of a revenue-producing product
  • Experience in developing product features that leverage Generative AI
  • Experience in using Generative AI to streamline work processes
